Ahhh... I would like to see a Warhammer battle once. I've actually NEVER seen anyone play it!

and i've got a bit of a problem, i always work on saturdays, and lately i've asked a couple of free days and they sayt OK but asked me not to ask for more days of in the near future since it doesn't make sense if you hire someone for saterdays and they don't show everytime...
now the big problem is; that means i can't get free for falentine... so i can't come... i think you won't really care much but i am really sorry for myself that i can't come...

is there any of you guys going to the Midwinter Fantasy Fair in the Archeon??? it would be fun to meet some people there!

I was planning on going to midwinter fair, but i'm not entirely sure yet. IF I come, it would be on sunday What day are you going? If we're going on the same day, it would indeed be fun to meet up!

A few things I need to just say... so here it goes:

just cause someone likes warhammer doesn't mean he's nerdy (point 1)

I play warhammer (the table top game) (I have never played it >> So I might like it but don't know yet.) (point 2)

Just cause I know what it is doesn't mean a. I like it, b. play it. (point three)

Of course we care if you can't come, chou. And me hates work too (point four)

there have only been 12 vote's cast (last time I checked) where the hell is everyone??? We've got fifty members and only a quarter of them (not even that) decided to vote? -or at least consider the idea of coming too our big off-line meeting? (><) (point five)

Sorry but about the warhammer part... I didn't mean it like that.... I have a friend who plays this game a lot. He is a physics student and wears thick glasses, so I can't help it but to tease him about it >_< But what race do you play: orcs, elves, dwarves, marines? But then again, since you are avoiding to give your opinion, I have to ask you directly: "do you like warhammer?" -a) yes - b) no o.0

Haha, and yes we have over 50 members! But that does not mean that they are all active. Most of them probably signed up to this group just like that (because you don't need an invitation) and never visit this group anymore.....
But I agree 12 is kindda shabby, just give it a month time, and people will notice it. Is it possible that we will have too many people coming? Beware Utrecht o.0

and I don't play Warhammer, so I don't play any race XD. I do play a pc (video) game based on the characters of Warhammer (40k) (it's called Warhammer 40.000, Soulstorm) And I play with almost all the races.

And I don't like the judgemental element in the post >>. Someone immediately labled a 'nerd' just cause he likes a particular game. We can't be all as popular as you guys >>.

And perhaps your right there are a lot of people who never look back at our little group, but still there are more then twelve people. At least so it seems at times.

And the game warhammer (as in the table top game) I think the figurines look nice (but that is just the artist in me) I never played, I've only seen the figurines lying in the shops and I've seen into some of their booklets. So it looks nice. Not a clue how you play the game, not a clue which race fits my style, not a clue if I'll ever play it. Does that answer your question.

Well, I have been reading this sentence over and over, because your posts were 'priming' me to think in a certain direction: you dislike the judgemental vibe? or do you dislike the group?

Warhammer is very artistic, you know, you have to paint the figures and all ....
which is way harder than it seems! Also GamesWorkshop Rotterdam is waaaaay better than GamesWorkshop Amsterdam.

I really think there are to many prejudices bout warhammer >.<.

I'm not even going to comment on the flag... I made it 'cause I like to make a fool of myself, and waving a silly flag around has a way of doing just that. But Luckily I wasn't the only one willing to do that on our last meeting....

About the Midwinter Fair... I'm going the 13th (saturday).. helping out a friend of mine, who has her own 'stand'... I'm not sure where she'll be, but I'll let you know if you want (when I know)... so I'm hoping on meeting you there lonelychou...

too bad you can't make it for the meeting (or maybe we can find another day? Like a koopzondag or something where the mangashops will be open?) (just an idea for our allready stressed organiser *sorry*)
