Dutch Yaoi Fans

A thank you all for being so understanding. I'm not mad or something like that. I just pick up this 'vibe' that I dislike, so I speak my mind and tell you all I don't like it. And I know that you all probably didn't mean it that way >>, still I dislike it when people get judgemental just because other people like a certain type of game or something as stupid as that >>. I mean we are ***s for gods sake (well at least I am >>) and I don't like it when people judge me because of it (even if they say they are doing it just as a joke) so I work hard not to do so with others. And when I feel bad about something I have a tendency to just say it; not because I want the other to apologise (to me), but just 'cause I need it to get it of my chest. ^^, no harm done and no harts broken. And when I say something I feel I try and describe it as carefully and precisely as possible... which in turn makes me sound a little distant or 'afstandelijk'. Which I aint, I'm just careful.

now that that is done ^^, of course we can change the date, as I said it was just a date we were aiming for (or at least I was) and it could be changed if the will was there ^^. But since we decided the month December would suck to arrange a meeting, and January (the first part) was very busy for someone else; we agreed to hold it around end January, beginning of February. (and Valentines day was suggest by someone and no-one disagreed with that)

Also 'koopzondagen' euuhhh... as far as I know only the large shops are open on a 'koopzondag' A lot of smaller shops (with only one proprietor) have a tendency to be closed then. And on Friday is fine for me, but then a lot of other people won't be able to come (cause they work and school) so it is getting kinda difficult.

That's amazing Mac, it's a good characteristic to be direct huh. I wish I could do it on some level, because I tend to keep things to myself, I hardly feel the urge to 'let it all go off my chest'....Instead I always want harmony and world wide peace >_>

Or we can meet earlier than that, I mean, who the hell is going anywhere on a weekend o.0 Well, maybe work, but that can be skipped for one time? Sunday is not a good idea, I don't even think most shops and musea will be open at all But we can just meet each other just for the sake of meeting each other o.0 Or will we risk that we have nothing to do? Aren't there games in Utrecht we can do together, lasergaming, skeelering?

and about midwinter fair, how nice that so many people are going!! i'm going on a saturday (yes, that was one of the dates i asked to have a day of...) 'cause i can't come on a sunday because my grandma happens to have her birthday on that particuler sunday...

(yes i know i'm an idiot for asking that day to be of instead of valentines day but i didn't know then yet that there would be something to do other than sulking that i still dun have a love in my live and eating a lot of chocolate that day...

I used to work in a children's bookshop, when I was young (urg, yes I feel old... although Link keeps encouraging me and saying that I don't look like I'm old)

Aw, don't sulk on Valentines Day!!! It's just a commercial invention to boost sales of chocolate and cards (it's a plot by Hallmark ) hahaha

17.00 If you work in Utrecht, that would not be such a problem, but if you'd have to travel... that could be a problem.... I still don't understand why your boss would think Valentines is the near future ... seems to me like enough time to find a replacement for you, right? Can't you switch with a colleague? (just an idea).... I mean, if you make sure there's someone there instead of you, that should not be a problem to your boss, right?

Yes: Midwinter Fair: you're going saturday too ! I was beginning to think no one would be there saturday ...

@sas399, i only recently started to work there and it's my first job (pathetic, i know!) and my sort-of-boss gets pissed of rather easilly... so i dun wanna piss her of imidiatly... that wouldn't be good...

and the working hours... i work only saturdays starting on 9:00 till 17:00 with only one break from a half hour...
i dun know if this is normal but feels looooooong!

and yes i do have to travel a lot since i live near Apeldoorn (i work IN Apeldoorn) that's a lot of traveling!!!

@lonelychou: Why would having a job be pathetic? (of course I have no idea how old you are)
I'm sorry to say: but those working hours are normal... even one half hour less than what I work... But, don't get discouraged, when you first start it is always tiring... you have to get used to the job, the environment and the people and such, and that requires lots of energy... When you get used to it, it will get easier, promise !!
And if you do your best, you'll be able to ask for a day off in january, for then you will have earned your boss's trust (hopefully)....
And trust me, I know all about bosses that get pissed off easily Just go with the flow and tell yourself it isn't you!

About the Midwinter Fair: I won't be walking around (much), as I'll be helping my friend in her booth...
I'll ask her where it will be so you can find me... I'll be the one with light brown hair (my friend is rather big with blond hair).

and i get 'korting' on all book i buy there just for standing there for 8 little hours!

you might already have noticed but i'm kinda really addicted to reading... tehe... i read pretty much anything! but prefere fantasy (but not the average 'oh lets imitate LODR' book) and history-romans the most!

Yeah, it's so pretty, looks absolutely magical outside .... we just had a big snowball fight... the parents vs the kiddies
Now we are all wet and cold, but it was worth it!!

And I know what you mean about working in a bookstore... that was exactly the reason why I worked in the childrens bookstore (I was 15 at the time).... and its never too late for a first job

i love E. Rose Sabin and Diana Wynne Jones (though she write only childrens books they're still beautifull)
but i never really pay atension to the authors...
i do always remember Robbin Hobb, 'cause her name just sticks in your head! i only like a couple of books writen by her since the style of writing is sometimes really nice but other times almost anoying... if you understand what i mean...
i do love the world she created though!
i usually remember the front exact but forget the title and author...
that really sucks if i wanna find a book back... so now i'm keeping records...
