@Maskelle & Wolfje: OMG a fangirl working at a gaybar !!! Isn't that dangerous?? *grin* @Schetenei: I've been wondering about those novels myself... could you recommend some? @Link: yay, see, that's why it is always majorly intersting to talk to you! You know so much about those cultural differences! As a sidenote: I'm very interested myself in genderdifferences, including those 'difuse' genders that are neither male nor female and what that does to a culture or a person...How does a culture handle those differences, and what leeway does it give for those differences? @Kreatio: congratulations honey!! You sure sound very cute together Can I meet her? Would you mind? Oh, wait, I'll become the third wheel then er, never mind Is there anyone going to the midwinterfair on saturday?? :'( Anyone?? Well, If there is anyone going then... I'll be in the Speeltuintent helping out my friend @ heehee: insomnia can be hell! But then again, you've got lots of time to do fun stuff.... Let's just say I have my insomniac moments as well (although with me it's the baby's fault and I'm not complaining either) @Maskelle: You probably haven't met the right person yet!! There's only two people I've wanted to have sex with in my life (and I'm probably really old compared to you ). One is my hubby and the other is my best friend (who's a girl). Although I really am a perv and love talking and writing and fantasising about sex But somehow breasts now are a big turnoff for me.... guess all that breastfeading left a mark... So Yaoi yay!!
Welcome Deandraquin ^^ I have actually watched strawberry panic as well!! ^^ I loved it! But I haven't seen any other yuri... there aren't really that much around, and well... I will start looking once I've seen all the yaoi I can find ^^ Haha, a job at a gay bar! That must be fun ^^ @Sas: You should really meet her!! She's not going to be around though, saturday... she has to work ^^ But she's kind of shy with new people, so I think we should be more afraid of HER being the third wheel ^^ (besides, I don't like to be all lovey-dovey with other people around I'm too much of a talker to do that!) @link: Wow, you really know a lot! Very interesting ^^
<<@Maskelle & Wolfje: OMG a fangirl working at a gaybar !!! Isn't that dangerous?? *grin*>> You mean she is dangerous for the gay people in the bar >_< Oh no! not another fangirl!!!! RUNNNN And Sas, the reaction of society towards gender benders are really context dependent... and very difficult to answer. But it is important to note that even though in a lot of countries homosexuality is a crime according to the law, it still tolerates cultural expressions of it, such as homosexual traditions/rituals or in entertainment. But it certainly is not as free as it might be even here in Holland. It's still a taboo to traverse these fixed male and female roles, unless you are a very open minded person. Oh what about my professor, he's a freaking flirt (saying I love you and talking about his personal sex life in class, jup he's hilarious but so totally awkward), for him sex is suitable in any context and a basic right. You have the right to masturbate in a hospital ward when you are in a room with more patients. Jup I'm totally the opposite of him, I'll dare not to even say the word sex out loud o.0 And I you put wrong images in my head sas, you want to have sex with your best friend who is a woman. You are messing me up badly right now XD too much details already! @heehee you have insomnia? Whoah you should visit a doctor, you know that it has terrible effects on your daily functioning in life? I hope you are allright! You shouldn't read to much Yaoi at night, it sure keeps you awake.... unless you are satisfied cause an orgasm can drain quite a large amount of your energy >_< @kreatio, oh thx I'm so interested about this homosexual identity but I really dare not to follow classes about it >_> It's hard to live a double life You should know how it feels, since I don't think everyone knows you have a GF huh?
@sas I've seen lot of yuri actually, I've got the feeling it's getting pretty popular on the net. Try mangatraders and look for yuri in the "genre" I'm not interested so I don't know if I imagine it, but I'm pretty sure. Have you read I.S.? I LOVED it!!!! it's about transsexuals! Oh and I've got another question; what the hell do straight guys see in yaoi? (I've began to get the habit of writing yaoi with a majuscule, almost as if it were a country or a religion, haha!)
@Sas: Oh well, then I´ll just wait a bit longer. Hmm, your best friend. I´ll have to ask Toran then @Link: Well, I think Wolfje is going to kill me for telling you about the gaybar. She does tells us some stories about cute guys who where kissing in front of her nose but most of the times the people who come there aren´t really cute or its a old guy with a young pretty guy.*Seeing so much bishounen guys in yaoi makes you kinda picky* So don´t you all think now she is watching them all very closely all night. Toran and her friend would *We promised them we would all go there one night. I hope we can keep Toran out of the Dark Room*
Ahh finally my internet is working normally again D: Soo whats going on here
Hehehe, keep ME out of the dark room??? hehe, if there weren't (uitsmijters) i would go there lol. @Maskelle: Well now, i didn't know u thought about me that way:P like what do u want to ask me:P i saw strawberry panic also, and i love Shizuma and i watched blue drop, it's a nice one too, i think it has a better story then Strawberry panic though, but that's my opinion
Whoa! Loads of talk about me and the gaybar. *grins* Not that I mind. Ow and Maskelle, baby, you´ve never been there... I do watch, I am a fangirl. ^^ But I´m there for all cute people and I think cute girls who are kissing are quite hot as well. And there are some couples that think it´s funny that I don´t look away when they kiss in front of me. Now they try to shock me everytime they go out there. Hehe, fat chance! *smirks* I actually started working there because my mom came out of the closet and at that time i got the opportunity, so I took it. ^^ @Link; I´m not that bad! No one knows that I like Yoai. Only one of my (ex)colleagues knew because he had a boyfriend that watched it, and he thought it was funny. ^^" @Maskelle and Tora; so that´s what you guys are doing in Maskelle´s room all day (and night). Now I know why Toran doesn´t need her own room... She still has to pay rent though! Ow, and I want to be charizard! *fiiiireeeeeee!*
Welcome back chemical !! @the frisian trio: my God girls, what have you going on there *giggles* what can we do to keep you contained?? Nothing, that's what...it's too much fun to watch :P @ Link: sorry to freak you out, no harm intended..... I know you're a bit shy, but that's kinda cute, you know ?! And it's all about context, yep, every time!! Now, I don't ever dare tell you about my best friend, ever :P @heehee: I wasn't talking about the yuri.... I was talking about the yaoi I don't like yuri... breasts totally turn me off *rest of the sentence is sensored for Link's sake....I wouldn't want to hurt his sanity* He must still be able to lecture me about Pokemon.... Link: I need your expertise!!!! hmmm, I.S. you say? I'll look into it *runs off*
@sas; hehe, it seems bad, neh_ We are actually very innocent girls, except for the Yaoi thing. Would you believe that? I'm actually more in Link's direction in RL, I'm fraid. Only with my friends I can be really, really bad. I am getting curious about that best friend thing though. Ow, and the only Yuri-ish anime i've seen is Revolutionary girl Utena *but it;s not really anything, just weird ^^). I am in the middle of this cute anime called Uta Kata... It's supposed to be Yuri... I definatly prefer Yaoi though. *waves the fangirl flag*
