Just three of my closest friends know. Two of them ignored it completly and one typed the word in on google pictures and found a Harry potter picture and was very interested. We didn't convert her though. Well, it's sometimes hard to cover it up. But then again I don't mind having a secret hobby as well. It's really fun talking about pairings with Japanese names in the train, because nobody understands you. But then again try keeping something secret when Toran and Wolfjes little sister are reading and commenting very loudly about Yellow*Yaoi manga* while showing it accidentaly to the whole train.

@Link: It's so sweet that you get shy from talking about two women together.

@Sas:Well actually, it's really funny to act a little flirtatious towards other girls when they freak out about it. Toran's friend does so she is always it bokje *victim*. And then there is that campaign of me trying to convince people that one of my ex-clasmates that she is Hephaestion and that I'm her Alexander *It really freaks people out if you talk about that*

I only get associations with really emancipated (or gay) women when you say gender studies....but maybe that's because in Nijmegen the faculty of gender studies is mainly on female themes

As a matter of fact Sas, I think the Gender Studies here is world famous >_< Some professors are known all over the world in this field, people even come from Yale to lecture here :P I don't think you have to dress as a girl at all, I mean I have a friend who studies it, and at the first lecture you have to introduce yourself by explaining how your 'first time' was. I"M SERIOUS. And lectures about gay porn wasn't rare either. My friend had to write a small paper about racial issues on gay porn on the internet >_< Why there are no blacks and asian pairings for example.... so... you know how awkward this is......
Well I just can't understand how you can be so open about sex, it's too personal to discuss it in class. I rather hear other people's stories haha

I don't talk about sex a lot with my friends either, but I would love to! I used to live with a girl extremely obsessed over sex, a lesbian, a scottish girl who was best friend with a homo person so she told us how she even showered with him even though she had a BF (and at that time she didn't know he was homo) and a crazy French girl(is 'gay' an offensive word? I wouldn't know 'cause those people I mentioned just talked that kind of crap the whole time so my perception of what is rude or not might be somewhat off)
It's where I discovered the most about sex life etc... lol so that's my little story for you!
