@maskelle & wolfje, so you two are living together? That sounds like so much fun! You can both double your yaoi collection budget :P (you will have problems when you split up >_>)

and isn't the midwinter fair next week? I'd really love to hear how much fun it would be, sas &choco

@link: well your french isn't that bad I would say!!! (actually I think you make less mistakes than me when you write, lol!!!too used to dutch now!)Oh and i'm a girl, didn't expect to find many boys here though!

btw how come lesbians have an interest in yaoi if the female body is more attractive in their eyes? (I don't mean to offend anyone, 'm just curious)

And I got a pouch for my computer for sinterklaas and I should still get a box for my glasses, that I bought 2 weeks ago with my mum but that she's managed to loose meanwhile!

@heehee, thx ^_^ And yeah, first I thought you had to be a straight girl or a gay boy to love yaoi, but apparently I've met straight guys and lesbian girls too... and I know a lesbian girl who said that she actually feels more like a boy and in this way prefer male relationships, because she can identify herself easier as one of the boys XD Jup humans are complex huh

Box for your glasses? You usually WEAR your glasses, why do you need a box? Unless you are going to get lenses :P

And what time do you usually go to bed anyway, your last post was 4:52 AM!

Awww, thanks, all of you ^^!

@link: It wasn't actually hard to just pop up the question, because she has been my best friend for like.. ages (yeah, I know.. dangerous ) and we kind of... both knew already. But I had always been the one who was more reluctant to start something with her (actually rejected her once already ) so, it was a total surprise for her!

@heehee: Yup, you've got a point there. Why am I interested in yaoi? I have NO idea ^^ (i've been asking myself the same question, but never seem to find an answer). It's also a thing that... I would call myself bisexual, since I have kind of... liked guys as well. When speaking about purely 'body' attraction, I love both (oh, I've only been in love once anyway, and that was with this girl ^^)

@choco: I would totally love to meet up with you sunday on the midwinter fair! Is there a meeting point somewhere?

@chibiYunie: Wow ^^! Sounds like fun, you and that girl!! Any progress yet?
And... the fake candles are like... electric candles *yeah, that was the word I was looking for * They work on batteries. ^^

Hehe your right Link, living together has some advantages when it comes to manga and anime. Like, I usualy am the one that doesn´t have a lot of money and Maskelle buys a lot. ^^ Hehe. I´m a leech. It´ll be at least 1,5 year before one of us will have to move, so for now we´re lucky. It will be hard parting with some of the stuff though. *smirks* We have labelled all of our manga, just as a precaution. ^^"

And about the lesbian girls liking Yaoi; well, my mom is gay and she still is a great fan of Jhonny Depp (she´s worse than some of my friends!) and I like both girls and boys and I like Yaoi but I don´t really read or watch any Yuri... I guess it´s also a lot about indentifying yourself with characters and situations (?) ^^"

Yeah sexuality is a funny thing huh. I don't think I am much of a bisexual at all. I don't in particular feel interested in naked girls. I can only imagine the best way to dress them instead of stripping them >_>

And lesbians can like guys as in an idol instead of having a sexual relationship with them. I mean, I adore Kylie Minogue and Roisin Murphy, but mostly by their fashionable looks, awsome music and their stunning faces >_> They are 'sexy' but not someone I would have sex with, no not at all...

Yeah the funny thing about Yaoi is that it involves ONLY males, girls are like background actors. Even though they are extremely beautiful drawn, they don't get any attention from the males in the yaoi. You know that like 70% of the literature targeted at women in Japan has homosexual content in it. It appears that these Japanese women can identify themselves easier as a man in the Japanese society. Gender roles are ascribed and hard to escape from, esspecially for women who want to get out of their social stereotypes (you know, cooking in the kitchen, don't work, take care of the children, sexual lust object exclusively for their husband which is 'officialised' by marriage.) Jup and that explain also the presence of the 'uke' counterpart, mostly absent in Western homosexual pairings, well at least not that explicit. And if there are any Western homosexual literature at all >_>

So in the end, what makes you a man: if your character resembles a 'seme' or if you are a proud owner of a ding dong?

En hoi deandra leuk nog iemand uit Nederland

Oh! Another one living in Belgium hi heehee, and also hi to deandra. Is het niet raar om over BL te praten in het Nederlands? (Isn't it weird to talk in dutch?)

And there are a lot of homoerotic novels, I've been trying to read them, but it's very different from yaoi ^^; Still need to get used to them (got a few recommandations ) I haven't read much, but they are more versatile, and show more "male lust" towards the other person.

@link I just got back from going out or I just can't sleep (have some kind of insomnia) not so nice but whatever 'm not here to complain!

I don't really enjoy yuri either, If I read some it's cause the art or the story are worth it, but it's really yaoi that excites me. And I'm not bisexual but I wouldn't feel disgusted if I touched a girl for sex. It's just not/less exciting (never tried though)

@wolfje87 I envy you enormously! seems so much fun living together!

Yeah it´s fun to live together. We spend ages talking about pairings. Oh and having twice as much manga and anime is fun. Oh and Wolfje brings in gaymagazines as well because of her job at a gaybar:P

I love yuri as well as yaoi. But I watch more yaoi. I only watched strawberry panic till now. But then again, in really life I never wanted to kiss someone or have a sex with somebody so I might be some sort of a-sexual. *I love reading yaoi fanfics though:P*
