About the Sequoia tree: there's one in the US where they built a 'snelweg' through the tree, that's how big it is

and about that highway through the tree thing... yeah it's true XD. those things are massive. I believe they are the biggest trees in the world.

and it was just a suggestion to do it during the x-mas holidays. We can always try and book some other date (I just noticed that I have a pretty packed agenda myself. With all the dinners and family meetings I need to go to Oo -I only just noticed XD- That and I need to bake the fritters for new years eve ^^)

we can plan something in the weekend of the bookfair or we can do it after the 'Sinterklaas feest' so that everyone has a bit more breathing room. Or maybe we should pick several options and have a little vote ^^.

But I feel a bit empty >_< I don't have family living in Holland I usually barge into other family's dinners haha with an invitation of course

I certainly can't go before Christmas, I really have too much homework! And I have the whole month of in January ^_^

Fritters are 'oliebollen' ^^. And I make them myself since I'm very allergic and don't exactly know what are in other kinds of fritters so I make them myself (that and I like cooking... yeah I'm a really queer when that is concerned.)

I love baking cakes. I'm actually in a baking frenzy right now because our own two lil apple trees have OVERLOADED us with apples. They're pretty tasty, but somewhat sour, so we usually put 'm into all kinds of things.
