dvincy79: oh boy, Vista. Never used it so I can't help you but it gets brought up here. If it works, I have no clue. Most games require a patch to run on Vista too. They're usually on the game's website.

are there other tool i can use beside atlas
Basically, you won't be playing any Japanese games without the language support, AGTH/Atlas or no AGTH/Atlas.

But to answer your question, you can try Oh Text Hooker instead of AGTH but it uses Babelfish and it hasn't been updated in two years. You're better off pasting the text AGTH grabs into Excite's translator and reading it that way (I believe Excite uses Atlas too. It's nice for grabbing text of Japanese websites).

ive installed atgh and atlas with no problem and im running lamento beyond the void with atgh and atlas running alongside it, but once i try to play the game (or click on anything within the game) the atlas clipboard translate keeps on poping up making it very difficult for me to play the game. it also doesnt translate the text running in the game. ive done everything the guides have instructed but i just cant get the translation to run.

does anyone have any suggestions?

oh btw im running a windows xp home edition

hum does anyone now how to fix this? I'm trying to play Gakuen Heaven with AGTH and at first it went weird so I looked it up and got that fixed (did the /ks /kf thingy) so that AGTH picked up all the text correctly but now Atlas wont automatically translate the text T-T from the clipboard like its supposed to. Anyone now if I can sort this out or should I just live with it?

sunray1: I have yet to see someone get Lamento working with AGTH so you're out of luck. If you want to read more about it, there are some posts/threads in the AF Files & Forum Support Center section.

Tsukie: If you right click on Atlas icon in your system tray (by the clock) one of the options is "Automatic Clipboard Translation".

nah I've already done that and it still does nothing but oh well . It works just fine as long as I highlight the text in AGTH everytime it changes =.= its annoying but i dun really need to know Gakuen's story since I watched the anime lulz

Erk, that's a doujinshi game, right? You're pretty much on our own trying to get them to work with AGTH. I didn't see it on the compatibility list.
