Dutch Yaoi Fans

Hmmm.. Well, it's a democratic decision, so I'll have to accept it, but this is gonna give me trouble at work. I'll have to make some excuse for my boss (he probably won't accept the truth, which I wouldn't accept either if I were him). Unless I find a good excuse, I may not be coming to the meeting.

And by the way: What a weather these days. This morning, I had to walk to the train station in minus 15 degrees (it was half an hour before sunrise, the coldest time of the night/morning). And that with my All-Stars; when I reached to station I just didn't feel my toes anymore So I bought myself some real winter-shoes today, because tomorrow morning will be even colder here (minus 20). And I was thinking we had a greenhouse effect
*sigh*

Minus 20?! Uch... I´m glad I don´t have to go anywhere. (Hee hee, All Stars are great in cold weather, neh?)

@choc0dream: I so know what you mean (doesn´t do new years resolutions either). I always try to set these goals for each day... I don´t think I ever managed to keep one. ^^"

@mcdenno: Ooohw! Japanese movies??? Do they have Korean movies as well? *bounce, bounce* Finally something different then Amsterdam or Zwolle... (Or the Dutch translation of Naruto and YuGiOh in Leeuwarden... -_-") I can´t wait!

Yeah, the weather is totally deranged at the moment. It should have been this weather during the holidays, not now vacation is over already! According to the local weather service, it can even freeze to minus 23 in "the South-Limburgisch valleys". And very thankfully (ahummmm), I'm actually living in the deepest point of a valley. I'm thinking of not going to school tomorrow, this is just getting ridiculous. And thank God for central heating!

It's been awhile since I last saw this much snow. It's beautiful. I still have one week of holiday, which I'm very grateful for. Going to school in this weather, no thanks. I went out to get something to eat and I went flat on my face, haha.

and there is skating on Natural ice!!! not that I can skate, though I love to watch x]. And thing's weren't so bad at where I am at. It was about minus 6/ minus 7. And people were giving me all these weird looks cause I walked around in only a (open) spring jacket and a scarf + gloves XD (I don't get cold easily... apparently ;P)

and I have those mountaineering shoes, you know the ones with the large soles and warm padding, so I'm not having any difficulties with cold feet

and I think that minus 20 isn't the best temperature to go walking around in all stars oO, but maybe that is just me XD.

oh and will everyone who will be able to come to the Aarin Meeting or wants to come either reply to the mail I send or e-mail me that they will be coming. Cause the date is now set there might be some ppl who either suddenly can or can't come


And I'm sorry Choc0dream, but I already send the e-mail to everyone telling them the date was the 17th... (this before I even read your comment here on aarin) , I hope you can still come though (one way or the other) and I bet we'll hold a little meeting this summer ( we still need to go to Nijmegen , don't we Sas? )

Woa, yeah, it's cold indeed! (I noticed when I slipped, bike and all, this morning -.-) I'm happy I live in the 'hottest' part of Holland at this moment
Pity that there are some people who can't come because of the date... But we should just hold another meeting after this one soon then!

Oh, and I hope you can still come, Choco!! We DO want you! At least I do ^^ and i'm sure, the rest as well.

Here in the north everytime there is a bit of cold we talk about the elfstedentocht (the elevencitiestour) One person already tried it but came across large parts of water without ice. :P He did finish it though. He just walked and cycled parts. I love the cold. It gives me an excuse to wear my hat with bells. Allthough I would love to have some snow as well.

For the ones who don´t like cold. It´s only 3 months and then it´s spring again

Well, I guess I'm lucky I didnt regristrate then ^^ I'm sorry, I can't come on the 17th. It's too soon, I'm afraid I can't cancel my job anymore plus I have an examweek right after. And, I dunno, guess I should be happy I dun have to get shy or anything ^^ go through all the trouble of getting there, bad idea of mine anyway XD
Hmm, dun say that Maskelle, we're true Dutch arent we? xD We aren't supposed to feel the cold unless it's minus 30.. but to be honest I think I'm a dutch sissy or something. Cuz I am seriously freezing sometimes - especially in the mornings when everything is warm except my nose and my feet -_-

Too bad you can't come choco The date of 17 January is final and sadly it could not satisfy everyone's wishes

Oh yeah, the cold, I can never get used to colds. My body is more adapt to tropic climates I think. I wear three layers of clothing plus a thick woolen jacket and still get frozen toes, fingers, nose and ears XD And can you imagine it's only -5 degrees, while in Limburg or even further into Europe in Germany it is even colder.... it was -33 degrees in Beieren just now, I read it on teletext :S

But still I love the winter. Esspecially how the whole Dutch population get all warmed up of the feeling when it's time to go for some ice scating. I live not far from the country side and went with a friend to scate at the ditches. And it was packed with people, parent's with their little kiddo's. I just love the sight of it Don't you all get warm and touchy inside :P

Well, here there's not much skating to be done - we just don't have that much water, and most of the waters that we got are (fast) flowing rivers which don't freeze . But we do have loads of snow and hills, and snow + hills = sleds Kids are sliding downhill everywhere xD....

And that update today got me flabbergasted for a moment. I thought I clicked a wrong button at first. We actually need to think of a group logo, because now we only have this question mark. What about Saskia's Yaoi-flag from last meeting? Or the Dutch flag, although that would be unfriendly to our Flemish friends . The Prinsenvlag perhaps?
