The things you hate in yaoi >_<

yeah, the "no beginning, no ending, no story" really sucks. DJ's even have some sort of plot. But hardcore sex with no plot is a okay with me as long as it's sexy

When the uke sound like girls while their being ****ed. If I wanted to hear a girl getting ****ed, i'd watch some hentai.

This one is a general anime thing: When they call for english part, why can't they get someone in who can SPEAK REAL ENGLISH!

I hate noncon. There is nothing that kills my mood faster than noncon.
And when the uke has his first time with this one guy but ends up with another. That's good plot but I don't like it. And prostitute!uke, especially when it shows him with old fat balding men.

My number one thing is ukes that are super-feminine. The kind that are basically a girl +cock -boobs. I dun want girls in my yaoi. D= My interest drops off once you get below "femme gay boi" on the (completely arbitrary :B) masculine-feminine scale.
Oh, and the random fat guys... I've only seen one (thank *powers*) in Blue Wolves, but... *shudders* bleachplz.

Also... the same generic storylines. The highschool romance I've heard mentioned a lot... it's SO old. x_x I don't mind teacher x student (or student x teacher) as much, or salarymen, but come on, there's other genre out there! Maybe that's why I like ones that fall into supernatural (Vassalord, Mister Mistress, for ex). There's a lot more to work with. imo, anyway.

Something else that just kindda bugs me in an offhanded way... impossible sexual positions. The mechanics of male/male sex are different than that of male/female sex...

I'd have to agree with ZacktheWolf. PLus, one thing I've almost always hated was the so-called "rule" that the uke "has" to be smaller than the seme! Why can't they both be the same height!? About the femininity of the uke: I hate how they can't have at least some substantial body mass. I don't mean like love handles and crap, just let them be as good as the seme.
Another thing that I hate is when the uke looks like some corpse lying in a bed while the seme is doing all the action. How about some motion from the uke? Other than wincing because of the wide stereotype that we all have heard - "yaoi is a pain in the ass..." blah blah blah, nobody asked you!! Yaoi is awsome! Ukes are awsome! Semes are fabulous! And anal sex is great!

The number one thing I dont like is when there is just sex and no story, when its just hentai...I also dont like it when they show Uke having sex with older men, men in their 50´s or older, I have nothing against age difference, but well its just not my thing:P.

totally agree with most of you here. super-girly ukes. the reason i read yaoi in the 1st place is for manxman love. also x like when the characters look exactly the same. juz different height n hair colour. sorry minami haruka fans

I hate yaoi that has uber feminine ukes and super masculine semes. I mean, we get the symbolism authors, but it's a turn off! It's almost like pedobear love! *coughOkaneganaicough*
I hate yaoi that has no plot. Yeah, I love my porn and all, HOWEVER, I'd like to have a story behind the characters and how these people met. >:T
I also hate yaoi that has x-ray sex scenes and the uke is drooling too hard. I read Gravitation Megamix, and it is one big nightmare. 3/4 of the time deals with dirty talk and then the other 1/4 is uber drool and tongue flying out like a brain-dead dog.

Hate! Absolutely hate feminized ukes as well. I also really cannot stand the whiney type.

I hate the rape plot lines. The type along the lines of Prince charming comes and saves him in the middle.

I'm also not a big fan of overplayed angst. There comes a point where you just stop beliving and start rolling your eyes.

I loathe/deteste/abhor FLUFF. It's my biggest pet peeve. I don't think I've ever seen anything so awful in the name of literature. I often want to smack the uke, kick the seme in the nuts and slap the **** out of the author for writing it in the first place. The characters are always stereotpyical, the romance is overexergerated and unrealistic and the plot is often just awful. It's hard not to roll your eyes. It's even worse in manga because I feel the need to write to the author and tell them to come back to us when they know how to write a story.

I'm with sacred moon on the plot thing. Too much of something is poisonous. Too much sex just makes you feel tired reading the story. Lol about the drooling too much, I kind of agree on that one.
