About posting on the forum: I don't really know if I should post what I wrote. I'm shy when it comes to things like that - probably due to my low self confidence. -.- The fact that English isn't my first language doesn't help either. *sighs*

So yesterday I started translating the thrid chapter, even though my German readers are waiting for an update as well... (I post my FF on a German Naruto Forum, actually it's the only story featuring a male/male pairing I've seen, lol.)

I don't want to make your german readers upset! When you do have it translated though, I'd love to read it.

Thanks for the welcomes. I'm thinking of writing an original yaoi series very soon. I'm working on a novel with a yaoi bent so I have to somehow make sure I don't use my best material for this new series, but it's something I want to start on soon. I almost can't wait.

Oh dharma, me too, I'm thinking of writing something novelsize, since my KakaIru fanfic almost reaches novel dimensions now anyway. Maybe us writers should network on this, you know?

yes, I write novel sized fanfics myself. I once wrote 110 page fanfic in one week, so I know I'm capable of writing a novel now lol.

I've been writing forever. I finished my first novelette size romance story when I was eleven. It was about horses. It didn't have sex in it, but it had chasing down, fighting, babies, and death. I remember researching the breeds, what their children would look like, and names for the extended family - I followed one child per generation. I ran across a few pages of it a while back. My writing hasn't changed much at all over the years. I'm still doing bizarre overly lengthy romance stories.

I write a little of every anime I like. My favorites are crossovers where I get to design the world and mix and match my favorite pairings. I love character interaction and dialogue. I used to write a lot of PWP smut ficlets, but I haven't written a full lemon in a few years. When I do, it'll either be for NaruSasu or KuramaHiei - I have IP fics that are almost at the 'lemon point' for those two pairings. I'd really like to get back to the PWP smut ficlets. It was good for writer's block. I have a bad habit of not finishing monster-length fics. I start new ones instead of working on the old ones.

As far as 'real' writing goes... I have a 4yr degree in General Writing. I've been published a few times, mostly newspaper articles. I enjoy writing research papers and political commentaries. I haven't attempted to publish any original fiction. I'm not satisfied with my storytelling yet.

Arigatomina, I have the same trouble not finishing fics that are long but my main problem is I lost the flavor for that particular fandom a bit (DBZ). I still like it but just not so passionate about it. Now I'm afraid to start another long one lol.
