SILVER CHAOS help

ano... i had the problems with the main system thingy, but last time i had downloaded SC and it was perfectly downloaded, but due to my computer crashing, the whole information was gone, and when i downloaded it this week this error appeared.

and as for the save thing.. i don't really understand because i am a IT noob. zzz. maybe it was the patch problem, i suppose, since i downloaded the newest patch that doesn't require me to change my computer to japanese thingy or something? last time i took the older patch. o.o

Wow~ I'm so proud of myself that I figured out the problem! ^.^

For the game to work, Silver Chaos has been known to have compatibility problems(http://blgames.ukepile.com/install/t...hoot.php#crash). All I did was make all the ".exe" files compatibility to "Windows XP" in the Silver Chaos folder and now it works just fine! The english and everything works fine now so far. I think it also helps that if you have all the files in the same folder(wherever you installed the game to).
I hope maybe this helps some people having problems like I was. o.O

Are you sure that is all you did....change the .exe files to run on windows xp...........cause I am having no luck... I must be computer illiterate .....help is welcome.....

For me, I also had to change run the exe files as Administrator. If you do this from the MainSystem.exe file, it will run fine, but in Japanese [at least, that's what happened for me], so use the pretty Silver Chaos.exe one and run it as Adminstrator from that one. Just go to Properties, Compatibility, and change the compatibility mode and choose to run it as an Administrator.

And it's working fine!

First you install the game, then the 2.1 patch then the English patch.

I hope someone can help me with this as I've been dying to play this game. I have Vista (T___T) and I am unable to install the game at all because this gibberish window appears

At least if it was in Japanese characters or English (I downloaded the ENG patch), I could get somewhere but I don't know how to correct this. I have installed the Japanese support language and the SC update patch and even restarted my computer, but still no change.

I know another person who has the exact same problem so I'm not the only one to be experiencing this. What I don't get is that most Vista users say they can play this game without any problems so I'm really going crazy trying to figure out what it is I did wrongT____T
