I have been saving YouTube videos to my computer for years, and they have always been downloaded as either .flv (when viewing lower quality) or .mp4 (higher quality).
But now, YouTube is changing videos over to a new-ish video format called ".webm". My problem with .webm is that, even on yt's site, the videos lag terribly (never had that issue before). The downloaded video didn't play properly in Media Player Classic the first couple times I opened it.
Do any of you know how to convert .webm to more common video filetypes (.avi, .flv, .mp4, .anyvideo-type-that-isn't-.webm)? I googled it, but the results gave limited choices & apps.
Thanks in advance.
