Yeah I have pretty much the same problem as the OP
I installed everything correctly I even watched the video to make sure.
But soon enough after a few lines of dialoge this comes up:


any advise that could help me out?

I see others has the samy problem as me with the Mainsystem.exe file stoping to work... has anyone mangaed to fix this problem? Like using a save file or something?

Please PM me if you have a save file from first choice or so... I'm grateful for any help I can get. I really wanna play this game again.

Sorry for the delay everyone! I sadly don't have the game on my pc anymore so no save
files either, but I asked a friend to send me a copy of hers.

Copy and paste the files in your silver chaos save file map
(It's called 'save' I think)

I am NOT sure which of the save files is the right one, but you're supposed
to make your first decision on that screen ^^

I think there has to be a folder, perhaps somewhere else then you thought?

Hi I downloaded the save file and all the saves are there but the moment it loads and I click it gives the same message it gave during the intro, about the main system.exe error and had to quit. Could someone please help me since I downloaded the codec and I changed my computer settings to Japanese.

Same thing happens with me also. I did exactly what kumi-kun said with the "save file map" and every time I try to open a saved file it shows the image but there are no words, music, or anything. Then when I try and press enter to get the game actually going it comes up with the same error as before, "MainSystem.exe has stopped working" o.O
It must be a Windows Vista thing because it worked perfectly fine on Windows XP when I had it before.
