Haha, maybe I should find out if I can graduated from Pokemon o.0 Before Christmas I have to make a decision what my final thesis will be about.. I think I'll stick to more conventional topics like economics and international relations of Singapore. I seriously thought about writing it about Yaoi But I think I'll just write a midterm paper (around 12 pages) about it, since I did some research about it already :S

Did you know that Pokemon was inspired by Doraemon, the mischievous blue robot cat? All those middle aged Japanese men now, considered him as a best friend when they were little The Cat had the leading role in that anime. In the Japanese version of Pokemon Pikachu was the lead role, but when Pokemon the First Movie had to conquer the world market, they changed the lead role to Ash! The American market seem to be much more interested in the contrast of good vs. evil and morally righteous hero's. Instead the Japanese find the 'sprited' connection between the boy and the cat doraemon far more important: fantasy and imagination ^_^ You know that doraemon is actually quite bad or more like 'kattekwaad' While Ash never does bad stuff--> boring

I dunno what your kids exactly like about Pokemon, but if they want to have tips how to beat the elite four (=lol?) Should I bring my strategy guide with me o.0 ?
Oh and I know nothing about Avatar! I think I need to do some research about it >_> but I have so much home work to do! -_____________________-

@Link:You can graduate on pokemon? I´m so jealous. I can only graduate by researching about real animals. When I came across a research which compared zoos with porn and a research about the why and what furries truly are I got all those funny faces. *You migth think I´m weird now too* What you wrote about pokemon was really interesting!

haha, you can graduate on Pokemon if you know how to frame it into a large framework, like international politics. But there are tons of academic articles on Pokemon, hilarious don't you think? There was even one who said that it was a form of Easternisation: OMG you have to fear the East, they are going to take over the world! >_< but I'm not really a fan of Realist theories, which apparently dominated the Bush administration in the past few years.... but that would be another story haha

Oh yeah real animals..... you know a Dutch man won the Alternative Nobel Price from Harvard because he did research on sexual behaviour of Ducks >_< and there was another winner who researched how insects had sex! haha

Hello again, hehe, second introduction after an absence from here of a few days. Damn, messages are fast ´round here. It gave me some interesting things to think about.

@link: I have never been that much of a Pokemon fan, but the little bits you dropped here sound really interesting. I was always very annoyed by Ash, to be honest. He´s just so very... Good. *sighs* Doreamon sounds like an interesting animation. I can´t shake the feeling that I´ve heard of it before though... And I think it is definitely very cool that you use Pokemon and Yaoi for actual assignments. Last year I used DNAngel as an example for intrenational trade and distribution in an english presentation. Most of my classmates were just staring at me though. Hehe. It was fun. And I really have to look up the Academic work on pokemon now... *laughs* The one about Easterniastion sounds like fun. Ow, and lets leave the Bush administration out of it for now... *winks* Ow, and too bad that De boekenbeurs was not so interesting. I was going to come too but "they" (as in ´very-impotand-class-you-can´t-miss´) told me I had to be working on an assignment with my projectteam... *grumble...* And then Toran couldn´t go either...

@Maskelle: I think that you could easilly use anime in our school as an assignment. Pokemon could be interesting. I can just see the faces of the other students... *sighs happily*

@choco: I did hear of the QT thingy before, since I am a huge fan of the Quatre Winner X Trowa Barton (Gundam Wing fandom) pairing... Hehe. It´s cool that you found it in your own brain though.

@sas: Hehehe, yes, we Frisian perverts. *lol* People can be deliciously homofobic ´round here. Makes for some nice entertainment since most people seem to go for the "cow option" as pointed out by Maskelle, who is my most dear roomy as mentioned before. Can you imagine our envirnment with Toran and two other perverts visiting our house at least once a week. *winks* Jups, breeding ground for perverts.

And I will most defininetly come to the meeting as well. I´ll just follow the sound of Torans footsteps when I ride my Frisian Holsteiner cow to Utrecht. Although I guess that if a train got derailed I might have to lock my sister in somewhere first before the police finds her... Although she might come as well... In that case a torture museum might be a very bad idea.
