Jups. That one. ^^
What do I hear? Gay Pride? I love to watch those people on the boats. But sadly, I've only seen it on TV for now. Maybe I can come and bring a friend along. If I'm right she'll move to Leiden or Delft this summer (not sure yet which one), so I can stay over at her place and then join the Gay Pride. But no pink shirt for me, I don't like the color at all I'm glad everyone had fun at the meeting. I hope to be there next time @ Kreatio: You were done on the 2nd? I still had to do one on the 3rd too. And after that I had the feeling I still needed to learn for exams I guess I was in the rhythm or so... I think I've done well, but I'm unsure about Natuurkunde and Scheikunde. Those were always difficult for me. I'm wondering... Well, I'll hear the 18th if I was able to get enough points with my stupidity
¬¬ euhm I think it's obvious from my initial post 'the gay pride at the beginning of august' oO there isn't any other around that time (I'm almost positive about that) and the others aren't gay prides just... euhm pink days XD like 'roze zaterdag' (pink Saturday) in Nijmegen
Where is the Gay Pride? If it is in August, then I'm on vacation, sadly. I would love to join a meeting, just make them closer to my petite little town ;D @Everyone with the Exams: So, when do you get the results? I get them next week and I'm so nervous. I have school now, extra lessons to .. how do I say that .. better connect with the lessons and the difficulty of the VWO. *Facepalm* So I have been working my ass off on my exams and I have to make homework now. Life sucks. Officially.
@ mimi: Yeah, I had the same feeling! Or still have, actually... That i'm relaxing, and suddenly i'm like: wuaa, I still need to study, and and... oh wait, no I don't..! I have the exact same feeling you do. It went ok, but natuurkunde and scheikunde... especially scheikunde, that was really WAY TOO hard! Aww, and i'm sure you've made it..! *fingers crossed for you* @ chibi: I get my results the 18th, so next week as well. I'm not really nervous yet, but i'm sure that'll come Poor you, though! I can't imagine still having to do homework now. I'm totally lazy now that it's over... Poor, poor you! Well, i'm sure you'll do great, though! Now you can be extra proud of yourself when you've made it through vwo! Go for it! *cheers*
Oh that would be so kewl to look at the canal parade live... I have only watched it on our local tv channel AT5 XD I find that Awick reporter so annoying, he keeps rating the 'naked'-levels per boat :S And then suddenly the boat of our minister of culture and education Plasterk passes by... he really shouldn't be there, but he always is XD So the next one will be Amsterdam? I don't mind advising which spots to go to. The most beautiful square in Amsterdam is not the Dam or Leidseplein at all, it's the square under the Westerkerk, one of the oldest churches in Holland. Near it is the Anne Frank house and a gay monument... And if you girls enjoy shopping for alternative clothing, there is a nice street with your latest fashion XD Pink & black & steel :S On the same street is also a huge Asian merchandise store with paper fans and boeddha statues for sale. Oh and also a fantasy shop that sells hand painted figurines and decorations..... Near that is another church, the zuiderkerk. A few years back I studied frequently on a bench just under the church. It is always quiet and calm over there, eventhough it's in the middle of the city and near a busy shopping street. There is also a running waterfall ^_^ And to make the picture complete, almost every thursday afternoon there is someone who performs a carillion concert And we have a gamesworkshop near the dam, they sell only Warhammer stuff. Ehrm, i really have no idea what you all like to see. I'm just guessing. Oh and of course there are pannenkoekententen or cheese fondue but personally i prefer to eat Asian food which is quality and quantity wise cheaper XD There is a famous Japanese Ramen shop (Naruto's favourite meal) called Wagamama here too, maybe we could try that...
Ramen! I've always wanted to try that! :P and yayz we've got our own personal yaoifan-tourguide! ^^ if the meeting is to be held there, how about transport? we can all get to Amsterdam by train but to get to your favourite study-spot we'll probably need a bus or something of the sort, right? it'd be good to know what we need to be prepared for *nods to self*
^^ that would be cool and going to the gaypride live would be fun yeah. And I think it's cool that Plasterk (funny name, especially during a gaypride :P) is there every year. Not something you can say about all the other cabinet members we have oO. No other M.P. has ever visited the gaypride, let alone participate in it. So I appreciate he does so, showing his support for the gay community even though we have a poor government who watches over us oO with their stupid laws. And count me in
Ah political recognition of course that is a good thing. I just find him a bit distastefull. Sorry but whenever I see him I always wonder how my fingers he can put in his nose XD Oh that means I have to organise it, I guess? It will be over 1.5 month. I really don't have the time to plan it now. But I'm really too casual about meetings, because I usually just pick a date and time. Who ever wants to come, can come. So i won't be expecting anyone... If you want the group to wait you can just call me XD And whatever people feel in the mood to do that day, the wind will guide us :S And if we are going in particular to the gay canal parade. I have to read up on what time it begins and where they start and maybe even reserve a nice viewing spot.... I'll get back to you guys when I have the info........ >_>
minister Plasterk, I actually like him. He does good things I think. One of my friends got a letter from him one day because she was not going to school. *Telling her that he believed in her* And then she was afraid and was wondering how he knew she was not going to school. *Big brother:P* *Sorry bit vague story* I really want to go too but I'm not sure yet.
