I won't be in Holland till july (and then only for 3 weeks) so naturally I cannot come to the meeting... @at people who have exams: Good luck! afterwards you'll feel so empty for a few minutes, and then realise that you have time to do what ever you want! loved the feeling! so go for it, and nail those exams!
@Deandraquin:You went shopping for a wedding dress! And you all ready did that 3 times! I'm so jealous. My friends are never able to drag me from the windows of the bridal shops. They keep telling me that I miss one of the major ingredients to a wedding *somebody to marry*. But then again I heard a story last week that in Belgium a man married to himself @Sander: Please tell us all about your date! What does the guy look like, where did you go etc. @Mac:5!?! That is such a big difference from the last time!
and the empty feeling will also disappear when you realize you are going to have to keep learning the rest of your life. XD. You either start working or go follow a study or another. In both cases you need to learn stuff and even when your done with college and then go working you'll need to learn stuff :P, just to keep up with the developments in your field ^^. and yes quite a difference, haven't heard anything from a lot of the people that went last time (thought that is strange cause a lot of people assured me they wanted to come again XD, perhaps the long trip to Nijmegen is scaring them) and Sander: I thought you already had a boyfriend OO
Only five people have regiustered so far? Why? Come on, slowpokes! ^^ Hm, exams... I'm glad I'm in collge. At least the final exam is behind me... (just found out she has a 5.2 for her last exam and needs to redo the whole damn thing). Well, for the people that will graduate soon (let's be positive, neh?) Goodluck!!! @Erian: Then there are quite a few people you'll probably like around here, hehe. (although some of them hide it well, hehe)
my parents just kindly informed that the terror that is exams will give you nightmares for the rest of your life >.<' makes you wonder if school/college isn't just designed to torture us all lol @Wolfje: who? WHO? let me tackleglomp them all! XD all sadists gather around for a grouphug! ...sorry, I'm just tired from cleaning my room all day I'm moving to my brother's old room since he's left the house *sigh* guess a small part of me will miss him after all :P
Well, I still rather be in college then to work. Losing my Free traveling and the discounts at American book center will be hard. Only one year and then I have to find a job. And actually work for my money. Sigh, so people who are still in school please enjoy it. My mom will actually like it because I will finally have some more contact with males *Only 10 % of my education Diermanagement is male* When will the exams start this year?
Heh, well, I don't think your mom will get her wish if you keep it up like this. You'll only bring home more homo's. (smirks) And I completely agree with Maskelle. Enjoy your school time. And remember that the only trauma's you get from exams are the ones you give yourself. If you do you best, that's really all you CAN do, right? ^^ (is still enjoying her student life to the fullest including piles of papers and reports)
@ Erian: I know your feeling. I'm moving too, and not a bit. My whole family is moving here. We're all changing rooms and I'm the lucky one getting the 'zolder' (forgot English translation for it). We're halfway now, and it's going pretty slow since we also clean the rooms and put new wallpaper and carpet in it. @ Nihmmie: I'll kick the exams's asses and enjoy my free time afterwards Do you really get that tired of making exams? OO *not enough experience for three-hour exams* @ Maskelle: the exams start in May and are done in the first days of June for as far as I know @ Wolfje: I'm not worried about my exams. And I always do my best The teachers are just annoying me with stuff like: 'Be sure you do this and that', 'Don't forget...' Argh, they're making me nervous more than I do myself. My parents are like that too *gets feeling nobody trusts her instincts*
@ mimi: "attic" = zolder. And the empty feeling is more that there no more studying waiting when you return home but yeah... I was tired mainly because I had a sleeping problem *ladida*
@Wolfje: yeah I suppose you're right, but people's expectations can still give you panic attacks for tests. I've got a minor case of 'faalangst', mostly because my parents are always nagging I should get high grades @Mimi-chan: (zolder = attic btw ) O.o your whole family?! and I thought it was chaos here! ... wait, my room's always a chaos and about school: teachers and parents are the problem! especially my parents, the both did 'HAVO', there's nothing wrong with that or any other btw, but they hang on to the idea that because I do gymnasium they expect 8's and up all the time They don't take into account that on gymnasium you have to work harder to get such a grade. So when I get home, glad I was able to get a 6,7 for Physics they give me an earful that I should be able to better and blah blah blah parents can be such a drag sometimes >.<'
