WinDVD has an image capture button for dvds and video files.
Does anyone know what you need to make screenshots from a PS2, GC, and XBox? There are some video game screenshots i want to capture.

Thank you because it helped me immensely and I can get the pictures that I want. It was a great help.Originally Posted by Kouryu
I see you already solved your problem.
But you can always take a look to a similar thread here:

I don't know about regular Photoshop, but in Photoshop Elements you can import video files and take screenshots from them.
has your computer the Windows Movie Maker? it has an option that allows you to take screenshots. Simply choose the clip that has the img you want, then choose the desired part and click in the option... soon I would explain it better.
Oh...thank you guys .
Hmmm....I just want to give my 2 cents. I'm using GOM Player (which likely most of you won't use). If you want to take screenshots by using this application, you can right click on your mouse. Go to the video and then click the advance screen capture.Voila! Click all you want and you'll get your fav screenshots.
all i do to take screenshots is press the print screen button lol
Well, since I don't have all that fancy Photoshop and programs and stuff, I use Fn -> Prt Sc and then paste it into the Paint you get with every basic computer. Then you save it in your pictures folder. And it works for me. Just thought I'd put that out there. ^^
One way to know how to take a screenshot with your player is to go in the Option panel and under the tab "Keys" (or something similar), you just search for an item that looks like "Capture image", "Screenshot" or such. That's what I did for my Media Player Classic and Zoom Player. Both has the option displayed there.
