Ok, thanks malary.
And does Nero make your files smaller? Because when I add a heavy files, nero seems to take not much as space as it should. For example, I add a 240MB vid and it only says 37.7MB once I added to Nero. That is good because that means I can add more videos than the space the disc can hold originally.
Does your Nero work like that? And if it does, does it affect the Video disc or the quality of the vid?
Thanks. :]
NEVER MIND PPL, I GOT IT.

I'm using Nero version 6.6.0.18 and I don't have to convert to MPEG, I can burn AVI just as easily without any problem. I think Nero did the conversion for me during the transcoding part. That makes me so happy because now I dont have to convert to MPEG anymore. So I recommend ppl to update to that version maybe.
But I have another question, like if I want to burn a VCD of a movie that has soft sub, those file with .srt extension. Will it work? If it does, how do I do it?
Thanks

I have a question. I use Sonic Digital Media. It works fine since I can easily make the .avi files that I have onto a dvd that plays perfectly onto any of the dvd players that I have. But I can only put at most about 6 episodes on each disc or depending on how big the file is. I was just wondering if by following the instructions you posted and make a vcd instead... if I'll be able to put even more episodes on them. Cuz I once recived a couple of dvds that have about 12 or 13 episodes on them. I just wanted to know if its possible.
I'm pretty sure that VCD doesn't support soft subs. So you might need to add them to the video file before.
With a VCD you can add only files equivalent to 700 Mb. So if you're looking for burning a whole anime season (12 eps) then you need to work with DVD format instead.
That is good because that means I can add more videos than the space the disc can hold originally.
