mouse and keyboard problem (fixed)

hey guys ^^

i dont know what it is but i have another computer problem XD
please ignore the typos and lack of dotts it@s a part of the problem

since yesterday my keyboard and mouse are acting very strangely
my keyboard doesnt type several characters anymore nor numbers
only for maybe a little time when i restart it and then not even always

and my mouse somehow doesnt select what i want to select
and when i click one something like the @chat thread button at aarin
a new window pops up instead of going there directly

i really have no idea what it could be since i haven@t touched my setting
since ever and nothing else is acting weird

my keyboard is old so i thought it might be that but my mouse is very new

does anyone know what it could be?

As for your mouse, maybe it's the "touches rémanentes" (sorry for the lack of translation, I don't know the way Microsoft calls it in English). You could have activated one of the 3 available by pressing SHIFT or such keys (there are 2 more). It actives a useless functions that f*ck up the keyboard. By that I mean like you press the "A" key without cap lock or shift and it writes an uppercase "A", you press "1" and it does a "!" without shift again...

It's really troublesome and hard to get rid of. If this is the problem of course... You could always check it out.

Oh, I forgot to add that it also creates problems with the mouse when selecting. You try to select the middle item, it selects from the first to the middle and such. Go to your Keyboard settings, there is a panel for that. Try to deactivate it and reboot. I do not know if it'll reset it however. I know that the last time I did it, I had troubles to clear it. It happens more often at school and the faster way to reset it is to restart the computer (since it resets ALL the settings )!

Yes it does that too, I only listed a few things that changed ^^
however i checked the keyboard properties and there is no reset button nor anything like that where could i perhaps find more ways to reset it?

as i said at my post restarting my pc does not work

Yep, I mean, there is a way to disable all that in the Keyboard settings, but as for making it back to before, there is some ways, but as I said, which are troublesome and hard to do since I also do not know how I did it the last time! Having free time now would be a good time...

How about restoring your computer to an older setting? It always works for me when it gets messed up.

okay i reseted the options but now shift doesnt work,
;ike when i press shift plus another button it does something weird
like open another window or make my screen bigger 0-0

Did you do this?

It should be a sort of virus maybe. Have you done a virus scan?
