Can't acces a specific site (solved)

Hello there, since a few days I haven't been able to acces the deviantart website. I first thought it could be the site having a downtime or something. But 2 days is a bit long for a website like DA and a friend was still able to acces the site for some reason. Now I just tried this proxy website and I managed to acces DA that way too (but not all functions worked) so I was wondering if anyone knows what it could be? I never had any problems accesing the site before, but we did switch to another internet provider on Monday so perhaps thats related?

I tried firefox and internet explorer, but it didn't make a difference unfortunately.

Have you cleared your cache/cookies etc? Sometimes that will work.

It is possible that your internet provider is blocking DA. Mine blocks youtube videos half the time >.<
I have to use a proxy or my work computer if I'm desperate.

I think it's blocking it, do you know if there's a way to check this? I'm amazed it would block DA and not sankakucomplex or 4chan though...

ahm hun, how are you trying to access it, i.e. via a particular link i.e. a bookmark??

Have you tried goggling DA and accessing through it that way??

Through my browser, through google, basically everything. I'm sure that's not it.

Ziggo it's a dutch provider.

Ehem.. well deja vu..
I have Ziggo at my parents house and last time I was there I didn't have trouble accessing DA.

There was a pingtest method that could check if you were even able to connect to a certain site, I think it is method one in the list of the above link. If it is entirely blocked then you shouldn't be able to get a ping from it.
You could send Ziggo an email to get a clear up, it could also be that your antivirus (the active one on the bg) is blocking it or your firewall.
