Must be a virus or something because I'm sure getting crazy pop ups on my laptop of unknown nakie ladies.

I have no clue 'bout computer but I have no idea what to trust on my computer.
I dont even have a virus scanner. I was doing pretty good for not having one. xD
Not like I had or do anything important on my laptop.
Just reading/graphics.

Still...
my collect of beautiful perverted pics...
Not to mention, my music video but thats okay, I can redownload it ..

Anyways, my bro wont be home until really late from work..
Can the problem be fix? Or am I doom??
Am I doom to reboot my computer & lose all my data on it?

what page were you open when you received the pop up?
it might be a pop up ad that usually automatically appear when you opened a certain web page, but it can be a virus too...
it is best recommended for you to install anti virus program on your laptop, it is very useful for preventing your laptop from a virus.. and such virus can be deadly for your laptop
so download it and install it.. there's plenty of free anti virus that you can find and download from the web..

some free anti virus that you can use:
AVG 9.0 or avast!

or you can scan your laptop online using this: bitdefender

I was checking my email & looking through past forums, I joined.
And, then of a sudden, I got pops up from teh computer(?) saying I have a virus.

Ah~ So horrible.


I'll wait till my bro comes home & install an anti-virus program (yes, thats whats called. Haha. the word just slip off my mind) for me.

I use avast on my laptop and it works very well paired with anti-malware protection program malware bites.

Try that?

I'm pretty sure it's a popup with a virus on it if you click on it by the way you describe it.

maybe you should try to install the anti virus first then after that go scan your laptop.. all of it.. all drive you have..
I've given you the link... I am now use avast too.. since my previous AVG suddenly decided to stop working and I even can't update it

Oh, I forgot to add:

DON'T USE NORTON! WHATEVER YOU DO DEAR GOD, DON'T USE IT!

Sorry, just trying to make a point. You can never remove Norton after you install it... It's terrible. It never lets your machine run with any other AV.

I'm install avast right now. It made me restart the computer.
No problem, I did. So now I have this big black screen that says it scanning. Is that how it suppose to be doing?
It does have a shortcut/icon I click on to open the program to scan the computer?
Am I doing this right??

I used avast once and I didn't got any black screen...Usualy you have to open the program before to run a scan...
