The black screen is still here?
what? you get the black screen?
no no.. it's not supposed to be like that..
and you have to register first before you can run your anti virus program if you using avast!, have you registered then?
What I'm suppose to register?
Nope, I havent.
I didnt get anything saying that I had to register. All I did was install.
It's a black screen that says, its scanning and then it said something 'bout having malicious something, what you what to do click "1" "2" "3" and so forth.
Its like an old style way for scanning..
hnnggg... but you are supposed to register it.. you will be asked the email address for verification, then the register code will be sent to your email...
hmm... I think yes you get the old way install it... what did you do after you succeed donwloaded the avast! program? you clicked the icon right - then follow the instruction..
is your computer screen back normal again now?
if yes everything run normally... you will be able to see small icon of avast! (it looks like a circle with 'a' letter in blue/grey color on your icon tab at the bottom right on your desktop)
I got impatient waiting it to be completely scanned.. it was @ 99% on the black screen.
I tried working with the program after quitting at 99% but it wont delete the virus.
So ~ now I'm switching to AVG.
It's installing the program right now.
The black screen was Avast's boot scanner
you can tell Avast if you want a boot scan, which means that if you start your computer before yo0u go into windows it will scan your PC so that any malware that might be invisible when you start up can be caught
Don't worry, Karu will get you through =)
You shouldn't have shut down the PC or rebooted though, the black screen is not a bad thing it is simply the program scanning and it takes a while for it to complete scanning
AVG doesn't have a boot scan and I don't know if it can find the malware you have because I would label it is spamware and not a virus, somehow some anti virus programs just refuse to remove spyware >.<
don't worry though, your problem is fixable and shouldnt be a problem at all. However if you haven't been using an anti-virus for a while and urf online you probably have more viruses on your puter
Tell me if AVG finds something and if it is gone afterward, if not I'll see what I can do =)
This nude lady spyware usually comes if you visit naughty porno sites btw nah sometimes on other places also, just kidding
I'm using Spybot! It's free and very easy to use. It even removed a trojan that other antivirs couldn't. XD
I'm not just getting boobie ladies but I'm getting something like ED's message.
Thanks for the help.
All these info is like ""
