    Thanks for the help.
All these info is like ""
    Haha.

Oh, because the virus doesnt let me open my own anti virus scanner, its forcing me to buy one. o-o!
So my bro making the laptop go to safe mode and do something to it.
& see what happen from there.

    malware indd

AVG doesn't ask for you to buy anything, it might be the spamware trying to do so
if you have any big red "!" message in your task bar telling you that you need to buy their product cause you have over 9000 infections, that is spyware the whole product is a hoax and infects your pc even more

    good free anti virus:
Avast, AVG (Avast slightly better cause it detects some stuff that AVG doesn't)
    if it is AVG asking then you downloaded the wrong one -_-;

    Avast:
Download FREE antivirus software - avast! Home Edition
    AVG:
AVG Free - Upgrade Free Antivirus

both require you to register at their home page so that you receive the activation by email, this code is your kind of like your ticket for a year long
you enter it when you start the program and voila done you're set of to scan

however I also suggest you use this, which is made for malware and what is free

    Malwarebytes.org

press on the download free version, install it and scan your computer with it

lastly, something else I want you to do so that I can tell you exactly where this evil thing is
and I'd like you to do this first in normal windows before even doing anything of the above

    download Hijack this at: http://free.antivirus.com/hijackthis/

this program runs out a list of everything your computer has running, including any viruses etc. that are online and causing your pop ups

I want you to use this option: Make a system scan and save blog file

then it will make a list in the program and will show you one in notepad, I want you to copy paste the note pad entry here or in a PM to me
I'll take a look to see which ones are viruses and spamware and with the program I will tell you how to remove those entries

After the system scan you can shut that program down, if you don't do anything silly in the commands it won't do anything different to your PC. It is merely to make a log file of what programs and system32 files are running during the time you make the log and with it you can remove entries that are viruses being active

But now I have an error message 'bout RUNDLL
I did a quick search of what it is...
but it says something 'bout having a registry cleaner,
So do you or anyone have any recommendation on a free registry cleaner?

My bro told me to do the rest by myself.

    I'm trying 'bout I'm like

A registry cleaner, I could send you a torrent of a good one that I use, I'll send it through PM =)

    edit:

Send you a PM, could you tell me what the error says exact?
    Just curious

edit: I googled, a registry cleaner should fix it or else we could do it by hand (I recommend the cleaner though which is a lot easier)

also after putting in the serial do not update the product cause it will find out that the serial is no longer valid

    what it means:
your virus was a .exe file which loads when you start your computer
to load it upon start up the PC makes a .dll file which carries the same name
the .dll is put in your registry and it commands the virus.exe to open and run
with the virus gone it cannot open the .exe anymore and will broadcast that message

the registry cleaner will remove that registry entry so that the message disappears, if not then it is manually removable

@KarumA: what registry cleaner do you use? Since RegCleaner (the last free version, v4.3 by J. Vuorio... sadly, runs only on XP... which can be understandable anyway), I am not able to find one that seems satisfying...

@Erotic Devil: what were you doing to have this issue? Looking for warez, keygen?... It's a long time I didn't see these issues of popup and dialer coming in... Did they find a new "entry point"? Or is it still "reserved" to serial, nocd and other cracks?

    EDIT:
    re-reading => http://aarinfantasy.com/forum/f52/t1...ml#post2922262
... this mean then that some forum are not so keen on security I guess...

Registrybooster 2, it isn't free but if you have a good source it is =P if you know what I mean

when my pc was under fire by a bot hidden in my usb drivers and my registry was all open and messed up a friend of mine recommended it to me, he works in IT
Been using it for about a year now, it is very good
