Lamento: Beyond the Void Installation help?

Okay, so I originally torrented it all from hongfire, here

and it has all the files shown here

Now, I've got it all downloaded, but I have no idea what to do after that. It doesn't have any instructions whatsoever, but it took me hours to get this. If I have to redownload it from here, then I will, but please, if someone could tell me what to do? I unrar-ed the files, but after that...

Don't download things that do not have instructions whilst not knowing how the files work

Try downloading from here! Usually the downloads where you join with HJsplit or winrar actually work.

I have some "little" problemes with the installation...
I have follow the instructions in this post :

And... the game don't start, I've follow every step and redoing it almost 5 or 6 times. I don't have any error message from the PC, so I don't know from where it come...
Is someone have the answer ? Please....

Oh if you are running Vista, then you need to right click on the file and click run as administrator
Once, you have installed the game, you will eed to go to the offical Lamantos site to download the Vista patch
However, if your are running Win 7 32 bit or 64 bit. the game will not work

Update: I did a further investigations and got Lamento to work on Win 7, but just the 32 bit version, but even then you still need to follow my steps here - http://aarinfantasy.com/forum/f49/t1...tructions.html

So I got it to install but the patches won't work and when I try to open the game, all I get is a black screen and a frozen window that I have to force quit with the task manager. Is it because I've got Windows 7? I did check out the links above for getting it to work so I'll try that but I don't know if it will work.

I already followed the steps and also the patch. But still can't play. I'm using Win XP... there's this error. can't read anything except [1503]... would you mind help me?
