Well, my mother works with NedTrain, the maintenance section of the NS, that's why I have this special card, although I use it not that much. When commuting - each day to school - I prefer to use my student-OV, for two reasons: I normally have veolia instead of NS when commuting (*cries; wants the NS back!!*), and 1st class is soooo dull. I actually like a crowded place, it just gives that extra atmosphere. Yeah, I know I'm probably weird about that, but I like 2nd class a lot. I only use 1st class on long trips (going to A'dam for instance). But the thing still comes in very handy, and I tend to forget that other people must pay for the train, because I'm used to travel for free for years - about a decade, I guess (and before that, I was too young to even bother about paying )
A tip btw: If 2nd class it totally full, with not much space left to stand, it IS allowed to go sit in the 1st class with a 2nd class ticket. Only if someone with a 1st class ticket wants to sit on that seat you have to move in those situations .

Oh, and I'll definetely will be at the boekenbeurs next week! I'm having the Thursday and Friday off that week, and I'll already be in Amsterdam (me and a couple of friends will be shopping and play tourists that thursday ) I'll probably come to the boekenbeurs on friday .

Boekenbeurs is next week, huh... -.- I'm going to Ieper next week, so I can't come at all *sniff* That's a pity! I'll just ask a friend of mine to bring some stuff for me. She's going on thursday as well, so maybe you thursdayers will meet her But then again, you don't know what i'm talking about at all, *muaha* Sorry -.- I'm in my 'toetsweekstressperiode' so I can be a bit weird sometimes. And I want the new Batmandvd to be out already!

I only posted yesterday and all of the sudden there are tons of posts O.O. Oh well. And of course you can join. It's for dutch people and living here is dutch enough for me ^^, I hope the others agree though >>, but I'm sure they will ^^ (most of them did already )

and public transport isn't scary at all. I takes some getting used to, but it isn't as bad as it sounds. I really hate to commute during rush hour cause there's always someone who is going to sit next to me who smells really bad or takes up half of my seat oO

and all you shy and quiet people (don't forget the 'e' ^^) it would be too bad if you wouldn't come cause of that. We like shy people, well I do at least >>

and if anyone can explain to me how to make a poll I'll make a thread where we can discuss our little outing

Why do so many girls play WoW? I mean, I know some girls who never play games at all, only those in the trend of Singstar and DDR, but WoW seems to have a large proportion of female players doesn't it? Are there Yaoi elements in it, that I haven't seen before??

really apriciate that! and in my train we always get to sit al alone in a 4-seet (with 2 people!!) but that could have something to do with the fact that my friend and i are both gothic (i'm more a lolita, she more with chains and stuff) and that we talk really much about all the yaoi stuff we'd been reading the day before enz...
that tends to scare anoying people away just fine...

on the other hand we are much more quit than a lot of other people i know in that train...
but people only see; hey, gothics!!! eeeek, lets go sit somewere else!!!
