Problem with Lamento Torrent (resolved)

Edit: Gave up on this version so problem not solved really but I managed to get the other version to work on a different laptop using XP. So still don't know how to work Lamento on Vista.

Has anyone downloaded Lamento via this torrent? ...

I did but I can't figure out how to install it. There seems to be no text file with any instructions and I think its different than the one available here. I have Daemon Tools but the only iso is the one called "boot" and when I mount it, it does nothing.

I just want to know if anyone knows how to get this one to work before I give up and download the one Firestorm put up.

I think the problem is because no one has seeded it, maybe you should wait until it's done, or find it on a different server?

Maybe try the site next to the picture, I tried it, but I can't read Kanji that well, so your on your own there...

Oh, and by the way, your really not supposed to link to the site, unless it's on the Aarin forums...

Hope this helped a little ...sorry I couldn't do much, that game looks very interesting though, (am I the only one reminded of the Togainu No Chi drawing style?) if you do ever find where you can get it, please PM me =).

Oops, didn't know that about the link thing.

And well it actually is seeded as I downloaded it entirely. It was more trying to get the game to work. But I just gave up and downloaded Aarin's version though I'm having a million problems with that too. lol (I think its because I have Vista) But I'll take out the link to this post (surprised the mod didn't tell me that when s/he moved the thread though! o_o)

I think it's a Vista compatibility problem but "boot" is a little unusual. Could you list the file contents of the downloaded game?

Download the patch from this part
※Vista対応アップデートファイル(HTTP・自己解凍 17.4MB）
(It just says it's a patch to upgrade files to make them 'Vista ready.')
Below the download link the instructions say::
After downloading, double-click on the patch and it'll self-install.
(My suggestion, move it to the folder where the game is and double-click on the patch there, to be on the safe side.)
