So could someone please upload an old bsplayer-setup version please? I am only using it for making screencabs, and watching my animes with zoomplayer (I think that`s the best player out there)

You can make it with almost any players. You don't need BsPlayer just for that. Just turn off overlay.

Yup, I noticed this too. It took me ages to find the old version of bsplayer again. It just works much better than the new one.
that's.....not goood....O___O;; thank you for this
is this still goingon?? Because....I have it and...I have whenu save but nothing bad has happen...should I still uninstall it? probably huh? >.>
The new free bsplayer versions have adware support built in. Security threat description about whenu-saveas, but it's quite low, however I don't like running any adware products on my computer.
If you want to remove whenu, and it would probably stop bsplayer, you can use a whenu remover scanner here.
I also used BSPlayer before I found MPC. MPC is greater for watching animes (with all the codecs), but I loved the options of BS Player. I must precise I used the forward function often (using arrows on keyboard), as it was faster to skip short useless scenes (or something like that). That's why I sticked with an old version, even if I don't use it anymore. I do not have the install file anymore, but I got all the folder, which can be used without problems, even without "installing" it. Yeah, I had a backup when I tried the new version, and desinstalled it RIGHT after when there was other "shits" with it!
I don't know if the old versions can be downloaded somewhere... but if someone really needs it, I can try to put it on my FTP server. If so, PM me, I'll manage to do something...Err... I noticed a link at the top where you can download old versions. I think that would be the best alternative!

Thank you for this notice. ^^ I'm not sure which version of bsplayer I have, except that it's at least 2 years old. :P Looks like I'll be holding on to the .exe file for future installs.
Well, I do have McAfee...does that do anything? Oh dear...
