Bsplayer has spyware

This is just a warning to all the users who are thinking about downloading the new version of Bsplayer.
The program will give you spyware with a program called: 'WHENU save'

While installing the videoplayer, it will inform you about the other program it will install,
('WHENU save') and tell you what the program is for.
The most important part of the message it tells is:
"To use Bsplayer for free and support our future development you must keep Save! Program on your Pc."

So shortly, if you un-install the program Save!, your Bsplayer will not work.
(unless you have an older version with 'WHENU' save',
or such an old version that didn't even still include the Save! program.)
Another funny part of the text it says was:
"Save strictly protects your privacy."

Wich is not true.

After I had re-installed the program (with the newest version),
I got a message from my virus-program that I had 4 new viruses,
and all those viruses were from the program Save!
They were all spyware-worm viruses,
and sadly; I deleted the files so fast that I didn't remember to put the names up of the viruses.

So if you have an older version of bsplayer, and love the program like I did,
do not install the newest version unless you want a spyware on your computer.

I recommend everyone to be a badass and stop supporting bsplayer.
But if you really like the program, be wise and download BsplayerPro with the keygen.
You can find these programs in different BT sites or kazaa, dc++ or other programs.

I removed all the traces of the spyware with Spybot and the spyware plugin of Outpost firewall before I got any virus.

vlc and windows classic as well as KM player all work almost as well as BS player...
it is just that you can't resync subtitles with these other players

o and all of them are completely free

Oh dear... so what now when I've downloaded BSPlayer a long time ago...? Should I uninstall BSPlayer? Well, I do have McAfee...does that do anything? Oh dear...

I know, my roomate just tried to get bs player, but he had same problem. I use BS player, but I got it before this whenu save crap. I wonder if it's possible to upload the old version for other ppl to DL and use?

Actualy it's not a virus, it's a spyware. I don't know the first version that came with it, I think the last 2 versions were the first.

I used to use bsplayer...but then I found media player classic and switched to that...I tried so many, like core media player and zoom player...but in the end, I thought MPC was the best...
