my touchscreen desktop not responding to my wireless mouse= =,

it went out of battery.......= =

hi guys = =

all of a sudden my desktop stopped responding to my mouse = =
at first, the scrolling was still working = =
then the next thing ---> BOTH not working = =
i have restarted my desktop hoping it would recover = =
but still not working m_m

then i went to try my wacom tablet this time,
my desktop was responding to the 'touching' on my tablet
but when i tried using the pen nothing happened as i moved around m..m

hence i'm not sure if it's my desktop's problem or my mouse

can anyone help me with this?

The first thing I was going to ask was about the batteries. They're the problem in 90% of the cases. I'm glad you figured it out.
