my computer mysterously has another account o_O

Ok so yesterday I just changed the name of my computer. This morning when I get on I notice now there's my account, then "another account". It doesn't specify anything specific but if I click it it will ask me to put a name in and password. I don't remember setting up a new account. I have windows vista from 07 and I'm the only person who uses my computer so I don't need other accounts slowing me down. When I go into user account options though, it freezes x_x so now what do I do?

Should I mention that the "other account" doesn't exactly work and when I click it it says for me to put a name and password. I don't wanna establish a new account because I can't get into the user account options to delete it. The window comes up then disappears -_-

Don't worry, some Windows' features like to install accounts like .NET.

I had to do something like that with my Windows 7.

Just leave it blank, I don't have either and it worked for me.

weird I don't know why that thing won't work for me and it still won't let me into user account options X_x I hope I can fix it eventually because I hate having this "other account" slow down my start up like this.

i would actually do the extreme and send it off for repair or reformatting if it's actually something viral (most of the time it involves my wonderfully geeky computer science friends.lol)

well I hope its nothing viral because my virus scanner hasn't detected anything X-x I got to user profiles from system properties and it says theres only one but that doesn't stand true whenever I start up o_o It says below to create new user accounts, open "user accounts" in control panel. When I click user accounts then it comes up then disappears >: otherwise if I just go straight to it in the control panel it doesn't come up at all -_- Is this because my computer name is in kanji?

Mysterious accounts usually are Windows' craziness fault. I always have that problem once and a while, fortunately those steps solved my problem.
If you couldn't follow step 1, try to type control userpasswords2 inside the RUN window. If you can't find the run window type run on search box and you'll be able to run it. It's the same thing here.
