My Mom wants me to fix her new laptop.
It ASUS and its Windows XP.
But when I connect to our network. I saw the "Limited Connectivity".
I always click the Repair. But I guess the Renewing IP is the current problem.

Is it wireless network or local area connection?
If it is a wireless network you need to choose your network from View Available Wireless Networks, enter the correct password, also check how many channels are open on your router.
You should configre the connection manually, XP has that bug.
Give it a static IP and put the DNS manually. Don't let it do it by DHCP.
Whats DNS and DHCP ?
What will I do to that ? ^^;
You can follow on instructions here >> How to Configure a Static Client for Windows XP Internet Connection Sharing
EDIT
You can also try the troubleshoot of Wireless connection with XP t see if the problem could be somewhere else... >>http://support.microsoft.com/kb/870702 and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314067
