Is it a ripped version or a bought version?
Try restarting you PC(if you didn't already) otherwise you'll have to reinstall it.
(and if it's a ripped version and still won't work after re-installation you'll probably have to look for another one)
a ripped, I don't have that much money to buy it
I tried with another link, but nothing work... I installed and uninstalled it 3 times
I think I'll have to abandon the idea to have photoshop cs5 for now....
thanks^^
but if someone have an answer please tell me! ^^
Why go for CS5 right away, it has been released for only a short while now there could still be quite some bugs in it. Probably because you have a *cough cough* ripped version the rip itself might not be a good one. Quite a few things can cause it specially if you download it, maybe use another CS versions 3 and 4 are great ones and have very little difference from CS5 (just a couple added functions to make things easier for regular users and professionals, the basics are all the same). Can't provide you any links though because that is not allowed here
yeah I know XD I'll go with cs4 I think ( or try XD)^^ the cs5 I got, worked for everyone who installed it... well, maybe my comp have a problem, I really don't know..
thanks anyway^^
The problem most likely is in the rip itself, and you might have to find another version.
I agree with Karuma though, since you are most likely not a professional, you can just as well use cs4 (my personal favourite) for now as well.
yes I'll do that ^^ thank you very much^^ ( just hope everything will work XD)
Karuma is right. It's always a good thing waiting a few month before installing the new release
Adobe Forums: Photoshop CS5 - Aplication error -...
thanks libertypo, your post relieved me with the link^^
I have cs4 now and it works, so thanks for all your reply^^
When I tried to install my CS5 version it complained about my OS apparently it needed a 64bit system to make it run so I had to upgrade from my 32bit XP to win7 64bit
if I've not forget I think I got the same error message at that time too ^^,
hope it works for you now though, and I'm seriously considering buying the Master Collection legally since I have an 80% discount on it being a student rocks
