You probably have a dinamic IP address. Each time you connect the IP changes.

As the others suggested get a spyware and make a deep scan on your PC. Also clean all temp/rubbish files on your computer.

Firewalls are not useless. They are valuable protection for the PC specially to who uses windows. Windows have no protection at all, your computer can be easily invaded.

I suggest Comodo firewall, it's free and a good protection, the best one from all I tested.

Hi, You can check if your IP is hidden or not after using an IP hider software by visiting http://www.ip-details.com/ and having an IP lookup. Good luck.
