I remember saying in another thread that either Germany or the Netherlands would make it to the end, or either of those two would win, guess I was right? My dad was dead set on Germany winning, he's been saying it since it started. We've already made bets for Saturday's game, and I put my money on the Netherlands, and Sunday Germany. Haha, if I lose one bet that's okay; but two is going to hurt my wallet. I'm pretty confident in those two.

Don't worry, I think you'll win in both cases. The brazilian team is destroyed, the press keeps criticizing the team every single day in brazilian press and the coacher because of the defeat to Germany, there is no moral support to the team and Netherlands have a better team.
And I truly believe that Germany will beat Argentina, they are more powerful - and the whole brazilian population is rooting against Argentina.

Well Brazil and Argentina are traditional rivals (in almost everything) so it's expected that Brazil would root for Germany. At least Neymar wants Argentina to win because his Barca teammates are there and being a good sport and all. I doubt Argentina and Brazil would have both reached the finals if they were not both good teams

Netherlands won, so I won one bet. One more to go, I'll be hooked to the TV and will comment via my phone on it.
@daniyagami; I know, from what my dad, uncle and all their friends (who seem to forget my house isn't a bar :/) say the same thing about Brazil; and that they only made it so far because of luck and not skill (They weren't playing so good anyway). I don't know if I'm saying it right, but my dad says they "les dieron los juegos" as in, they won "gifted" games or something, like they didn't even deserve not putting more effort into their games. I don't know if it's just a general dislike of his or his opinion on it.

As for Germany and Argentina's game tomorrow, my money is on Germany. I was jaw dropped at that 7-1 score with Brazil, and the ridicule that followed after Brazil lost, even if Argentina did okay with the Netherlands, they'd need a miracle to win Sunday. But who knows, strange things have happened already since the games started.
