Picture Resizing Question

Hello, I just had a quick question about this function. I understand that most pics that get posted in a post become resized to thumbnails and one would have to click on it to see it in full size, but does anyone know what's the max size an image can be before it's forcibly resized?

Like, could I post a 100 x 100 pic without it being resized? Or would it be smaller than that in height/width?

I'm not certain about height, but the largest width you can have without resize is 400 pixels

The best way to know is to try

You can go up to 200 pixels in height without resize, so long as the width is not greater than 400.
