Rep points dropping (recurring)

Hi all, I was wondering could it be because Cireus was such an active user in the past, (stopped for a few months and now active again)... and some very old threads were auto deleted - hence the decrease in post counts and the reps/thanks that were with it?

I don't think that's the case now, just because I've only noticed this in the last few months, well after I became active again

Confirmed that the rep points are not affected by the merging of posts as I had done some merging in the General anime section. Cireus's rep points remain the same before and after post were merged.

That's a relief though I still wonder why it would drop so drastically before. I know I wasn't imagining it. LOL! It would make sense as far as numbers of posts impacting it, but I really didn't get why it would drop more than one point at times, too. I mean, it would have had to have been a lot of posts deleted for that to have impacted the total, in some cases 500 or so posts, and that would have been a LOT of pruning in one day, I'd think.

So I guess that posts were merged again today which is fine, and I did notice my rep dropped 1 point again due to the loss of a few posts that took my total post count down into 3696 total so I understand that, however I did lose a few points, too, as in, total rep is now 47967 and it was in the 47980's earlier today AFTER I noticed the loss of a rep point there.
