    Not getting email notifications

    For some reason, since yesterday I haven't gotten a single email notification for my subscribed threads, both for the forum and the fiction section. The threads still show up in my User CP—I'm definitely still subscribed, and my email address hasn't changed or anything. I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone here, so help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

    Nope, Windstream is my ISP and I use Windows Live Mail.

    I'm still not getting anything, by the way. I didn't even get an email when I received a PM earlier.

    I just tested out the system and I have received e-mails to my hotmail account. I don't know what's going on with your mail server, either they blacklisted us or some kind of filter is in the way.

    Strange. The problem is definitely not with Windows Live Mail since I haven't gotten any email notifications in my ISP's own webmail service's inbox either, and according to my settings I'm not blocking any emails, so I've checked everything I know to check. I'll try calling my ISP tomorrow, and hopefully they'll have an answer.

    In the meantime, if you can't solve it, get a new e-mail like gmail and use that to see if it works. Change your e-mail in the settings on here.

    Wow I thought perhaps I over looked them, I've had the same issue, but is hot and cold. I get them for stories I'm subscribed to but not my stories... is strange Dai, I'll think about linking my gmail acct here..but then again that bounces to my live ^^ woe is me..

    For me, I'm still not able to receive any emails from Aarin to either of my Windstream addresses. I switched the address associated with my account over to a Gmail address I have, and that works fine, but when I try to switch back to my preferred address, I don't even get the email with the confirmation link. It's very odd, not to mention exasperating.

    I called my ISP last week, and, after checking a few things, we concluded the problem wasn't on my end. The woman helping me said it did sound like the site might have been blacklisted or something, so she supposedly elevated my inquiry to the next level (whatever that entails) and said someone would contact me later. But as days have passed without a word from them, I'm going to call again tomorrow to see what's going on. Hopefully they'll have a solution. I'll be sure to post again whenever I do finally have an answer, just in case it's relevant to someone else (and for the sake of completion ).

    Anyway, I don't know if your issue is associated or not, CrisNoWait, but I wish you luck in solving it.
