Issue: not working links in the profile intro

hi again

i'm not sure if this is actually a bug or if the profile intro is just unprovided for it, but i fail to add a working link to my profile intro.


i put this in the "Profile Intro Text"
i'm using the same code in my signature as well and it works there.


but after saving the changes in my profile settings, i tested the link at my profile page and my bwoser tried to open this URL
which doesn't exist.


any ideas what's going on there?


EDIT: if its important: im using firefox 5.0, on Win 7
