Why did you start reading yaoi ?!

chatting with some of my online friends talking about a shoujo manga then a guy recommended loveless,me think it was shoujo i started reading it note i didn't kown it was yoai or even what yaoi meant and being slow, thickheaded i didn't notice that it was yaoi until i got to the part where soubi lost his ears and that not all it actually didn't hit me right away i need to call me friend recommend loveless while am talking to her i remembered that part ,no still didn't get it ,i thought something feel weird, what i was think at that moment :
1- soubi is a guy !
2- his sensei is a guy !
3- soubi lost his ears to the sensei
4- why would that guy tell me to read this? and what does that mean?
the beauty of me being slow was that i stoped thinking about it and continue reading loveless without actually get it yet and had to read it again to understand
yaoi word opened his doors to me .

Was about 13 and i went to a bookstore to get some new manga and ended up buying 'Aoi House'. Next day,friend comes over and reads the back of the book pointing out that it had yaoi in it,making me ask what the hell yaoi was.
So i read through it (quite eagerly actually) and find a few interesting things so i start surfing the net and doing some research and VOLIA! i'm forever sucked into the world of yaoi,then later mpreg.
First actually 18+ yaoi i watched was Sensitive Pornography. Regretted it at the time because well,i was still like 13 and it fried my brain.

I started Reading Junjou Romantica COMPLETLY by accident. I had just finished reading some lameo shoujo manga and I was looking for a new one and I noticed the cover of Junjou Romantica and saw that well it looked kind of inapropriate which was like... I'm so gonna read this. I had A.B.S.O.L.U.T.L.Y no idea that Misaki was a boy until Usagi molested him the first time and I have to say I COULDN'T STOP READING IT. and that is how my Yaoi Addiction began and I never looked back haha

My first yaoi was Junjou Romantica. I had 2 friends who were talking about it and i was like wat the heck is that?(this was 7th grade i belive) i then the next daayy looked up junjou romantica not knowing that they were gonna have steaming hot sex scenes. One of the ones i saw waas of Hiroki and Nowaki and he wanted to do it in the living room i think and Hiro chan was like lets at least go to the bed. Throughly embarrased and surprised/disgusted i went to school and said how can u read this. U can obviously tell hes aggressive! (but of course i didnt know Nowaki wasnt all that forcefull at all hes a big teddy bear) They laughed but then i just couldnt help myself. I continued to look up the images and then fed up, i read the manga. I soon enjoyed the storyline and romance and all the drama. it fasinated me. i loved it. and thats how i became a yaoi fangirl/fujoshi.
