What are you looking for in a doll?

When you decide that you want a doll what are you looking for? What features do you like/not like? Do you prefer the designs of a certain brand? Which? etc.

I just bought my first one and have looked through hundreds of sites for dolls I like and I have noticed that I prefer male dolls that look like they are in their 20-30's. Grey, green or violet eyes. Long hair; black or silver.

I think most of my dolls were impulse buy. I seem to be a nose person... I care so much about the nose shape and it's the only place I'd hate to see sanded ^^; I also tend to check if the doll looks good and in proportion with my other dolls... I had to give up on my favorite korean dolls because they made my volks boys look like cartoons

ah i prefer korean dolls more *cough*DOD*cough* >.>
been though so many and i realized the more 'big eyed' they were i tended to stay away -.-;;...usually more noticeable in japanese doll <.<
