The "Mary Sue" syndrome - does it feed the whole uber uke thing?

    How many of these super ukes are really the product of the fanfic artist or fanfic writer's need to put themselves in the middle of the story? Maybe not an obvious "Mary Sue" but do you feel that some of these ukes are really (immature) girls in disguise?
