    *blinks*

    So, what you people get irritated by, is the fact that Naruto _looks_ his age and some times behaves like the semi-adult he is? And, that the idiotic anime (dubbed in english), makes him sound like a kid? *sigh* Really, _read_ the manga...
    And, then you get the creeps by the very idea of him having sex in some random story?

    *lol*

    O-kay. Fine with me, *grin*

    But what I don't get is WHY people wants him to play the uke. Oh, believe me... showing emotions, NOT being the f*ucking best at everything, breaking down and crying when your (almost)-grandfather dies, trying to find your (maniac) best friend, working your soul out of you JUST so you can be respected.... err, when did this become bloody uke-ish?

    *just wondering*

    @Grawsparrv: Artemis is the only one who thinks it's morally wrong to write about 15yr olds having sex. Tons of directors write about teen sex, most novelists do, and most yaoi fans do - because teens have more sex than any other age group on earth and they all know it. Artemis is the exception not the rule. Read the 'he's not a child' thread for more insight into why.

    Personally, I like Naruto's childish aspects. He lives an adult's life in a world where twelve year olds are trained to kill people. He might as well live in a country with a child militia and suicide bombers. Those people turn into little killing machines. Naruto never will be a machine because he's too decent to lose the last scraps of his humanity. People can throw as much paint as they want on the 'canvas' of Sasuke's heart, but if they try it on Naruto his orange is still going to show through. No brainwashing will make him into a monster. Why? Because he's already got a monster inside. He's a classic 'hero' saving the world from his own darkness.

    Naruto is uke because he's got blonde hair and blue eyes and because he's a nice decent person. Seme is tall-dark evil attacker villain, uke is small-light innocent victim damsel. Put Sasuke and Naruto next to each other and they're a perfect example of the classic seme/uke stereotypes. Anyone who doesn't like that will split them up or flip the pairing around. Personally, I find Sasuke much too prissy to be constant seme, but that's just me.

    *LOL*

    Well... I don't like the thought of watching children while they have sex, either, Arigatomina. But, in MY country, a 15 year old teen can have sex with someone _beneath_ 18 years old and IT'S LEGAL. So, I don't mind it. Can't mind it, 'cause I was one of those teens you're talking about

    Huh. I've met real heroes and they are THE darkest people I know. Decency _dies_ in a world like that, believe it or not. What doesn't die is the fact that people can make a choise to do better, BE better and fight the madness that gets born. In this case; Yeah - Naruto is trice the hero.

    And, damn... You know, I live in the land of the Vikings. EVERY SINGLE MALE you see, is blond with blue eyes. Most of them are nice, decent poeple. There are exeptions, of course - some of these males are green/brown eyed and brown haired. So. The idea of making EVERY male in my country a uke BECAUSE of his(their) DNA is pure BULLsh*it.
    And, GODS I aske again:

    These girls (women??) that thinks that an seme have to be an almost-rapist, with dark complexion... f*uck, are they EVEN having sex?! And worse - Oh, gods, I know that asians aren't vikings, but HELL, what makes people think that fair skin and blue eyes make a man MORE of a female, than a _real_ female will ever be?!

    I _hate_ this part of yaoi. It's insane and makes me want to puke.

    And, yeahyeah... shoot me.

    Ah, Arigatomina, I will thank you for not putting words in my mouth. I did not say it was morally wrong to write about teen sex. I said it was strange for an adult woman to receive erotic pleasure from reading, writing about, drawing, or seeing teen sex.

    I've been very funny and light-hearted with you up until this point. But you are making this conversation personal and spreading untruths about me.

    I know far more about teen literature than you do, so don't make me pull that card, too.

    Hey, Artemis... *hugs*

    I still want too continue this discussion. I find it important, see. Humor me...?

    So, people - can we PLEASE don't attack others while talking? And, don't get mad about my opinion.
    I, too, am a grown up - a _parent_, for gods sake. But, what I do also know, is that people react to sexual stimuli; either be it is from watching porn, or reading an erotic novel.
    Of course, people can choose a more tastefull type of lecture, but... I don't know. Perhaps a lot of you others are just half my age, which should put you somewhere between 14-16.
    So, for the sake of NOT presenting this in the wrong way;

    It might be strange for teenagers to think that boys/girls at their age is NOT something to like. Me, I only draw grown-ups, but I do write about love. Love exists between teens, so I won't cut out the sex where it gets born.

    On the other hand; I ONLY write about sex where it's legal.

    So... what I think is that yaoi is a DUMP where people just... ventilates a lot of things that is outside the "normal" for them IRL. And, what I also think, is that we HAVE TO discuss this.
    Stagnation is bad, ok?

    Actually we are all "of age," so to speak, and I think I may be the youngest at 28! ^^;;

    I read novels containing teen sex, too (I had to, for my major area exam). What I'm talking about is, to use the same phrase, "receiving erotic pleasure" from such books or images. And I'm talking about adult women, our age.

    So is that really going out on a limb, questioning the psychiatric make-up of adult women who essentially become turned on from viewing or reading teen sex?

    I know it's a judgment statement and I usually try to avoid them, but it's also part of what this group is about Ranting about such folks, and wondering why they like what they like.
