Fan: Thank you! Well, my favorite pairing in Reborn is Gokudera/Tsuna. What I was wondering was that, why does Gokudera trust Tsuna so much, and yet doesn't get along with the other family members that well? I mean, I know Tsuna saved his life, but I'm not sure if that's enough to make him so attached.
Amano: That's fine (note: Amano is referring to the fan's earlier comment 'Is that alright?'. What she means is that the question doesn't annoy her at all). Actually, I'm glad you asked that. I've always wanted to show how much of an impact Tsuna made on Gokudera that day without putting it bluntly. Gokudera has had a rought life and was never accepted by anyone. To have someone, an person he was trying to kill no less, save his life and then not judge him, meant a lot. Tsuna and Gokudera get along well because Tsuna is the type who is kind-hearted and trusts his friends. That sort of personality allows Gokudera's original feeling of devote loyalty to grow into friendship, trust, and the desire to protect his new friends. What was original furvurtive (god how do you spell that? XD) loyalty has grown into true loyalty and trust. The kind that gives you strength. Tsuna's influence on Gokudera also affects the way he interacts with the other characters as well. I'd like to think that people have begun to notice that Gokudera is changing slowly and beginng to trust others like he trusts and respects Tsuna.
Announcer: Sorry to interupt, but our time is up for this caller.
Amano: Well, thank you very much for calling.
Fan: Thank you so much for answering. It really makes me appreciate these two more!
Assistant: Wow, I bet you just converted a lot of shounen-ai fans to that pairing.
Amano: *laughs* I'm just answering questions
Assistant: That's fine too. Now if you don't mind, I have a new pairing to shower love on.
Amano: *laughs*
