@Janitor: maybe cuz Im such a stickler for IC but Ive come across a few KHR ones that have been that way, course I normally only read D18 or 6918/189669 and if someone says its OOC in the summary I wont read it. Not to change subjects but I find it alot more in Ghost Hunt since apparently most ficcers see Naru as an ass and he's not...I dont like ALOT of GH ficts cuz of that. KHR is better though, ficcers seem to keep them IC better. I have read a few crack GH ficts that were written by friends so I knew they were gonna be crack and that didnt bother me, its when ppl are attempting to write canon and it comes off OOC (now Im rambling)

@Mir: exactly! we fall for them based on their personality (or lack of personality in Hibari's case! XD) but we love them for that reason, so why change it!! I fangirl too much too but its a good thing.

Yeah I tend to ignore them when they state its OOC too. But when I missed it and actually read the fic, its not exactly ooc at all. I'm just a bit sad that I may have missed some good fics that the writers assumed that they are OOC when they are not :\

I only use irc for dowloading yaoi mangas that I'm unable to get my hands on around here and elsewhere fufufufu...

I suppose I kind of agree with Jan, It's kind of complicated. I don't like oocness, but it's not enough to stop me from reading a fanfic (or doujinshi). If the plot is good I start reading and if the oocness is not so bad I can even go along with it. But, yes, if it's too much for my brain, then I just drop the whole thing. There are things we can't imagine doing, so you'll never see me reading a nice Hibari fic, or Mukuro being sweet... But it's taste and there's nothing we can do about. >.>

@Tamaki: I don't really use it, just to download anime/manga sometimes. Irc is only good for group talk, because in msn becomes a mess.

@JANitor: I liked how the author portrayed Ryohei too. ^^ It's like seeing that his TYL version is not as childish and dense as his present version. He's action all grown up. *.*

I take OOCness alot better in doujins for some odd reason maybe thats cuz there's usually sex/smut to look at. Like in Crazy Death Match, HIbari blushes and if he did that in a fict Id say it was OOC and not like it but in the doujin I was like "holy!! he blushed how cute!!!" Im weird XD

I agree with tamaki on the doujins, I can take OOCness way way more.. actually I've never been turned off a doujin for the OOC~ the more fluffy it is then all the cuter ^^
although.. that's probably only for fluff X.D

Well, OOC is better received in pictures than writings I suppose. The blow is softer lol

I don't mind Ryohei's extreme behavior either, but its good to know he puts on an air of maturity when the situation calls for it. That way we can actually listen to other characters. That, and writers can have a solid foundation to when they want to write Ryohei in fanfiction XDDD

Fluff definitley comes off better when you can see it XD Blushing!Hibari nearly made me loose my mind course he'd just smack Mukuro with his tonfas right before it too...so it made it even better I need to hunt down more 6918 doujins~~
