Hi everyone, I just got back from Borders at Gardens, and bought Junjou Romantica Vol7!
It's not wrapped in plastic and not even on shelf when I asked for it... so if you guys and girls are heading there, be sure to check the counter for it! It may still not be at the shelf but it's already in store Oh and you get a 20% discount for it if you buy that with any magazine (discount only till 12th Oct).

@Chikaru: Borders Penang is in Queensbay Mall, but books often arrive later there than Borders in KL.

@valz: the anime con it's just boring- except for the cosplay...I can't get to buy any nice game or anime...*sigh*

I went Borders yesterday but JR vol.7 was not out yet...that mean i gotta go again XD tomorrow. Anyway, I managed to buy gravitation ex but it's just so-so.

Kino doesn't have BL for the english corners anymore. I've come across Japanese BL novels and manga though. There's still hope. As long as no one attracts attention to our remaining source of BL. siiigh.

@sef: Oh my... guess I am really lucky and could be their very first customer for JR7 ~ xD. I really hope you can get your copy tomorrow cuz I heard it's snapped up pretty fast. Anime conventions in Msia has never been good compared to Japan or Singapore, but they are sure making more here... I got a friend's girlfriend who cosplay a lot, wonder if she's there, hehe. Any BL cosplayers?? O_o

I am currently staying opposite of KLCC where Kinokuniya is but did not even bother to check there since my last visit there - when they told me "the government has banned that kinda book". >_>

And it is the fault of the reporter who reported to the newspaper regarding BL manga in Kinokuniya. BL manga has been in Kino for over one year at least, and lately only they are making a big fuss about it. I mean... the mangas are all sealed with Parental Control warning already... >_> and the worst is reporting BL in general as "bahan lucah" (pornographic material)?!

@cheezy: Yeah, like sef said, buy any one magazine and get 20% off for any books/items from Borders. So you buy any magazine less than RM8, is like getting the magazine for free or a small discount on your manga... better than not getting any discounts at all. I like Borders cuz their ppl are very helpful and they give this kinda discounts from time to time especially during holiday season. This is my second JR manga I got a 20% discount.

hi, i'm back...owf! my back stings due to the house cleaning work =__=' bringing news to ya, my mom agreed to make raya open house (finally! thanks to her office colleagues) but she hasn't decide the proper date...after she made final confirmation, i'll be sure to invite u guys to "beraya" @ my house XD

@sef =-= oh that's the usual thing i heard from my friends whenever they attended malaysian's anime/manga con...not so interesting as other countries' except the cosplay part...i had once attended GACC (game,anime, comic con) @ MMU last january, the most lively segment was the cosplay competition only n the only cosplayer had done the job attracting the audience was "the HARD GAY" guy!! XD XD XD
