And yea I was referring to KLCC's Kinokuniya, but I finally manage to place an order on the JR artbook =D Apparently they have in stock, cost about RM116, sweet. And actually I manage to find quite a number of yaoi artbooks in Kinokuniya, they're just good at hiding them XD Thanks for the heads up

@valkyriensz & kavz30 - I've watched some gay porn that had some cute looking twinks and believe there are some good looking ones and I've also seen the ones that traumatized kavz30 *laughs*. I joined gay-torrent one time and it was a rather um, difficult site. I joined to dl S4 & 5 of Queer As Folks but I didn't bother to dl the multitudes of gay porn available coz the files were huge and I didn't wanna waste my time on that. I got kicked out once coz I didn't post anything lol. I'd feel really guilty posting about a fake profile when I'm not who they think I am.

I'm wondering if the absence of JR 7 in Borders means they too struck out like Kino?

I did buy one Loveless artbook from Animetech and it was a tad too expensive. I never buy my mangas and stuff from Animetech anymore - in the beginning becoz I didn't know Kino sold them, I bought several mangas from Animetech - they cost about 20+ bucks more than Kino. The high price is one thing, I also hate the so called licensed anime they sell - what a rip off and expensive too. The final straw was when I was kept waiting forever and ever for vol. 4 of Embracing Love. I ordered it like 6 months and still they couldn't tell me why they couldn't get a hold of it when vol 5 was already released. Finally gave up on them.

I too along with a lot of people though OtRFK ended at vol.3

@kavz30 - The series is good isn't it? I find it just SO sweet. Hee. Kinda like a secret, secret engagement or something..Hee.

oh yes, i just received an email from animetech - they will be having an anime convention/fair at MidValley Exhibition Hall 3 this Saturday and Sunday anyone knows about this?

i think it's not just JR 7 that's late to arrive here. i've expecting the latest book by Nalini Singh (released 2nd Sept) and have actually placed an order for it with Kino - still no word about that book yet. my guess is ALL latest book shipment has trouble arriving our Malaysian shores...

gah, can't wait for the weekend to arrive!

@valkyriensz: They're in the Japanese section and the Chinese section, last week I went there I saw Matsumoto Temari's Hana Temari in the chinese section and a chinese yaoi illustrator's artbook too. They're not exactly hidden in the Jap section but XD so many artbooks there, gotta spend time hunting them down...

I never had problems ordering books from Kino, they're really fast with the orders too. One problem though, they refuse to let me place order on yaoi mangaka's books T.T Even though they have it on their shelf, so weird.

And Animetech is a rip off, don't know whether I'm allowed to say this, but I heard, apparently they used to take their Anime from the same suppliers that supplied the Anime to places like Petaling Street and Sg Wang. Though the quality is bad, they don't sell them as expensive as Animetech. D8 Don't ask where I've heard this from though... Now however, I'm not too sure.

I'm sorry everyone..lazy to read all message! and just pop in and when I read kavz's message...I was like . I thought my sis's was joking, she told me earlier but I don't believe in her. Any idea it will be until what time???I am SO GOING..maybe we could bump into each other..but we wouldn't know our identity!! I will read after my exam in Oct...gosh, i really need to catch up with lots of fic...(including yours..I still need to catch up with Carnalli complex, willow's story....that's really a lot)..now, i only have sufficient time to update on s0ubi & narda...btw..I forgot...dm.su's ficition you should try as well! it's definitely stress- relieve...and my English sucks too (I was pinpoint by *someone* here yesterday about my English & my "sms language")...but lol~who cares!!

@kavz - I didn't know bout the Animetech convention in MV till you told me bout it. I probably received an email from them but, sad to say, I never bother reading their emails anymore coz I vowed never to buy mangas from them anymore.

@sef - LOL! Actually you can get a copy of the artbook, I think Obsession (if memory serves me correctly) did do scans of the artbook. I can't remember if I still have the files on my disc or not..PM me if you need anything. Always happy to oblige fellow fangirls LOL

@cheezy - I totally agree with you on the ripoff thing for the DVDs. I bought Stage 2 of Initial D and I wanted to gouge my eyes out coz the subs were horrendous..at some parts while they were manly talking bout the merits of the cars etc, the subs threw me off coz it was all nonsense English LOL.

But maybe it has improved, I don't know. The last DVD I bought from them was the Haru Toki vol.1 from them...the subs were ma-ma...I wouldn't say it was totally out of this world but you didn't have to kill yourself over buying it either.
