    Damn, that was scary...I never ordered mangas online. Thank goodness when I got back from Japan with my bunch of yaoi mangas they didnt ransacked my luggage. All this stuff about strict laws/banning anime and manga are driving me crazy! What nest? banning the internet too?

    ah~~ you're here! Hi!
    about the anime/manga banning, i heard that it isnt really banned but more to restriction.. people need to confirm their age before buying manga... which in my opinion is so bothering.. >_< and well, some of them had already banned the sharing of manga in the net like libre shuppan who sends C & D letters to scanlation groups..

    That sucks. I think there are better things to prevent than yaoi...I know I say this because I'm a yaoi fan, but if yaoi is really that bad, I wouldn't stay home in front of my computer. instead I would go out there doing something much much more immoral.

    @sakurai93: PayPal uses credit from your credit card upon payment, they do not charge extra... how PayPal earn is from the credit card bank a certain percentage of fees, not from you. You just buy as the price indicate when buy online. What makes PayPal so popular now and preferred by all is that it has buyer and seller protection, if anything goes wrong... refund is easier. So as long as you have a credit card, just register with them for free.

    About EMS - it's Express Mail Service, the fastest available shipping method and also the priciest for any online store. But for Malaysia, I advice to use this if you can afford it. The Kastams will most likely let it go through safely because EMS has paid whatever charges and taxes that one is suppose to pay when buying goods from overseas. Without EMS, you run a risk of having the Kastam to hold on your stuff especially when you have a few items in one box. So I am guessing BookDepository sends things ONE parcel by one parcel each time is to prevent this from happening... because they don't do EMS, they simply ship for free.

    Just be wise about the book you wanna order, dun order "Sensitive Pornograph" because it has the word Pornograph on it, or total nude pic of characters on the cover. I noticed the Kastam WILL open your books and check from the top at random, but they can't find much about the content if they do that. So far, all the yaoi manga I ordered arrived safely at my doorstep... not one got "Tahan" by them.

    And I got to agree that the coming months manga schedule are gonna be really good... I am also preparing to buy some.

    OMG, BookDepository item DITAHAN officially. I ordered Intense Rain by Shinri Fuwa and today I got this letter stating they are holding it for investigation officially. I guess I am saying bye bye to the book and also won't be able to buy from BookDepository anymore >.<

    @norsue: I got letter from KDN too!!! argh >.< And I am guessing once we are on the list they will be alert or something... Do they fine you or anything? Or just book lost?

    if they held the book and go on for the investigation, will we be charge for some offend??? you know, those "kastam"
    previously, I had asked Kino to order some togainu no chi magazines and been retained/blocked... I just had to let go of it but
    after several months later, I reorder and it's safe... nothing happens and I got my magazines which I yearn for... SO it actually depends on the "kastam" mood???
    I got most of my manga from Borders in KL as well as Kino, Penang's Borders, the services... -.- so I prefer buying manga in KL... as they can transfer from another branch for u...XD

    Togainu no chi contains nothing much but violence, no sex even so maybe got detained for that? In fact TnC is sold at Borders!
    I felt like they detained it because of the tax pay and free shipping. Free shipping means your chances are very high it will get ditahan.
    Anyhow, can you guys believe it... a manga I ordered called Intense Rain was detained last 2 months ago, and when I went to Borders yesterday I saw it on the shelf! LOL of course I bought it ~_~;;;
    Oh and when it got detained, we will not be charged or fined for it dun worry.... we get warning letters that's all. What I lost is the $ I paid to the online site I bought it from.
