Embracing Love

I also hated Groupie (in my list of "never read again" manga ) I think Youka Nitta also hates it from what I read somewhere... The When a Man Loves a Man series is a lot more interesting, and pleasant to look at, but I don't think it's like HwD or Secret Diplomacy where you fall in love right away with the characters. When a man took me a bit more time to like the characters, and even now I'm not as much in love with it than with her latest series. Which doesn't mean that I'm not enjoying it, I like this series a lot, but it is not in my favourite manga (yet) ^__^
Concerning your likes noone, from what I can say, meaning not much^^;; I'm not sure you will like it, definitely not as much as Haru, Boku, or Secret Diplomacy --> the uke is not as cute or hot XDD (imo of course, maki likes him a lot )

you mean there's only carlo and magira in all that series?! i read one with a boy trying to become a gigolo and getting picked up by a real one, who then introduced him to that world. they were beautiful - most nitta's men are - but the story was... well. not to my taste.

i don't even remember if it was an oneshot or a part of the series. if i can get iwaki, or koushi, or renji, i need no other lol. except for havi and aki-chan. and anything by miyamoto kano or yugi yamada. *rabid fan*

Yes, I do like Takaaki a lot , he is my sceensaver right now. I like the series but it doesn't get me as emotionally involved as Haru, BnK, and Minister. I have to agree that Takaaki isn't as sexy as those other ukes but his evolution is interesting.

@noone: no no dearie, Carlo & Magira are from Casino Lily, another 1 volume story. In the When a man series, it's indeed the gigolo story. I think you read the 3rd part of the series (Nightcap) that is the past of the main characters. If you found them beautiful in Nightcap, you should read the latest volumes, cause really now, they are gorgeous

@maki: I also used Takaaki as my screensaver (alone in the water, looking at us, I love this pic so much, he's absolutely hot in it ), now it's Boku No Koe <333 XDD, and I agree that When a Man is less emotional than HwD or SD, but still I'm really infatuated with Shinkawa, I think I really love "crazy in love" characters

Are Carlo and Magira the same two who met Kato and Iwaki in America? Or am I confusing them with someone else. I don't think I read Casino Lily. I really want to know what happened to Kato. Did the bullet shoot out of the guy or not yet?

Hello all...I'm joining this group because I totally ADORE Iwaki and Katou and because, when I was snooping around in Deme's profile, and saw that there was a group called Embracing Love (all that time I was searching for a Haru Wo Daite Ita group ) and when I came in here, I saw Deme's post (I'm stalking Deme, sorry!) when she said she didn't like Groupie...
