Call me a pessimest (I swear I'm not, though) but I always feel that when people are watching me, it's for the negative. Like, they are sneering at me becuase I'm acting stupid, or something. Though, once in a blue moon, it IS for good reasons.

Agreed we are our own worst enemies when it comes to self-image...but nothing beats having fun in the crowd dancing to fix that...I dunno maybe socialising comes easier for me but once you join a bunch of people whove been dancing around for 2 hours almost no one has the time to judge you and give you dark glares if yor dancing around like everyone else.

PS: I just came back from 2 nights of clubbing in Milan and was just acepted into my target college through its waitlist...so yeah I must on some sort of high XD

I definetly agree with you Falk, I just went to a club tonight =], and I club a lot and by the time the night is over, everyone is in the same boat if you were dancing like they were, and there really is no contests (unless your battling in the circles like me =0 ), so I guess I like the feeling of eyes being on me =].

Hello everyone, I'm the new guy ^^.

I've been also reading your posts and it migth just be me, but I never feel like I'm being watched. Maybe thats because I dont really give a damn what strangers think of me or maybe I'm just dense.

Either way, my out look in life is that you shouldnt worry that much about what people think of you (be it your sexual preferences or your looks) It doesnt really matter what you do, 'cause for a number of people no matter what you do, you always do it wrong. You just have to be happy with who you are, that is how you have been placed upon this world. There are over 3 billion people walking around on this earth, but you got spend your entire life with only one person and thats you. So if you cant be happy with yourself, you are going to have one hell of a hard time.

Besides that, there will be enough people who like you for who you are. (my god this was a long post)

Hmh, well, it took me quite some month to realize, but, yey, we finally have a male member group!^^
Sometimes I really do feel like the only boy here, there are just so many topics all dominated by the female majority. ^.~

Well, about feeling watched in public...
I must admit I am usually the one to look at others, at least when I am not absorbed into my own thoughts...
But watching people can be really interesting, ah well, and to my shame I must admirt I am always one to listen in to conversations on the train... ^^ ()
I usually try to justify my curiosity by pretending it to be practice for writing about all sorts of people.^.~
But I guess, given all that practice, I should be a bit more productive in writing...

Hmh, but since we are on a yaoi forum and since we are all guys here, shouldn't we have a discussion about yaoi and it's often neglected male readership?^^
After all, with all the girls only advertising, we are really overlooked.^^

Agreed. Most of this forum is dominated by females, even the male threads have females in it giving us comments. I think we should have a place on the forum where males can only talk to other males. But yet again that is sexist and unjust. But it would also give us a chance to have a conversation within the male community.
