Err... so am ABS chatroom decoration, very British tho dun live in UK anymore, age 26, work in psychiatric care, love sarcasm and dark humour. I watch more anime than I actually have time for. lol Chibis give me hives. That's all very important. XD

What got you into yaoi?
What? Yeah, I dun particularly like yaoi. lol Am very picky with what I like in BL and am more into bara than bishies, maybe 'cos am a guy. Excess fangirling gives me the creeps too. Dunno what really got me interested in the first place, it just happened. I've been animanga fan since before I could talk so it really just came to me naturally.

What got you into Kuroko no Basuke?
I like reading random manga and it just happened to be one of them. Am a little surprised I like it so much since am not much of a sports animanga fan in general.

Who is your favorite character in Kuroko no Basuke?
Murasakibara. Nothing like a bratty sadist to melt me heart! XDD Close seconds are Takao, Midorima and Mitobe (it just kills me he never speaks XDD).

What got you into yaoi?
First anime:
I heard of Ai no Kusabi. It was impossible to find and I ended up buying DVD from Italy on eBay for US$75. Never looked back LOL - still watch and cry over it occasionally. Brilliant animation and fine science fiction. Iason was hot enough to start a fire standing still and his voice... OMG.
First fandoms:
Gundam Wing and Weiß Kreuz pretty much overlapped.

What got you into Kuroko no Basuke?
I love sports anime and clicked to check out the manga title. Best action sports manga I ever read... games are so exciting! Hard to believe but true. Was pleased and a little worried about anime, but they are doing a great job. I love it, of course, because 1. there are seiyuu and 2. FULL COLOR RAINBOW HAIR and blue eyes all the way through the games and 3. Great b-ball moves, some straight from reality! and of course Kuroko's passes. LOL

Who is your favorite charracter in Kuroko no Basuke? KUROKO, of course. I've never been a big fan of uke types but Kuroko is so damn strong... recently someone in the stands said he was an experienced warrior, and yeah. Those blue eyes, deadpan comments, firm attitude and passes like an angel... what's not to love here? When he says "Sumimasen," I'm already grinning, because someone's about to get their ass handed to them.

As far as pairings go, this is really kind of like a harem story, don't you think? All those pretty boys around one sparkling center figure... So I'm OK with people's mix & match, but Kise, who is a sweetheart and clearly sweet on Kuroko, is too nice for me. I like Kagame's relationship just as it is... he's totally at a loss following Kuroko's lead, and if they did pair, I think it would be reverse. Actually in any relationship I think Kuroko is so strong a character that they'd switch. The only guy I think balances him perfectly (so far... still reading manga and viewing anime) is AOMINE. Sadly, I doubt that fandom doujins will have a Kuroko I'll like; all the art I see of him with Aomine turns him into a weepy girl or victim. So OOC!

But I'm safe because I am lousy at finding doujinshi. Any recs?

What got you into yaoi?

One innocent day at School . . . friend showed yaoi Doujinshi to me and the rest is history. I could not get enough - that was like over 12 years ago.

What got you into Kuroko no Basuke?

A friend of mine is really into anime sports but not myself. So she comes over to watch anime with me every sunday and forced me to watch kuroko no basket with her. I was hooked from the start of the first episode.

Who is your favorite character in Kuroko no Basuke?

Kuroko - because you can't tell what he's thinking and also he is so cute and small but so manly at the same time.

Anyways, onto the introduction:

1) How'd I get into yaoi.

I was always into male/male fanfiction for a really long time. I thought it was super hot and really interesting. I was in fandoms like Harry Potter and Star Trek. One day after and seemingly innocent google search, I ran across Sensitive Pornograph. To say I was shocked is an understatement. From there I discovered the wonderful world of yaoi. I made my way to AF after seeing that Sensitive Pornograph was subbed by AF and thank God I did! Best decision of my life!

2) What got me into Kuroko no Basuke

I HATED sports shows, movies, and anime. Never liked them at all. I started to watch Kuroko because I saw some pictures and I thought all of the boys were hot. I decided that I would just watch the first episode and if I could stand it, then I would continue. I came for the sexy bishies and I stayed for the awesome Basketball action. I loved the first episode and I am continuing to love each subsequent episode. I am behind in watching because real life but I hope to catch up soon!

3) My favorite character

Oooooo! I don't know! All? I love Kuroko and Kagami and Kise. Just all lol.

Can't say for sure, just... started with HP slash fanfiction (cause slash HP fanfiction is for some reason way better than the het one) and than just went from there, found something accidently, don't even remember wich anime I watched first, and than I ran out of anime and started on manga =)


What got you into Kuroko no Basuke?
Cute boys actually. I love basketball, played it in school (yes, I'm a girl) and that I saw Kuroko's PV and thought it was nice and I like the art, why not give it a try. Didn't like it in the beginning tho, thought to drop it, but it got better, so stiil there


Who is your favorite character in Kuroko no Basuke?
Kise Ryota. I'm not sure why... mean i love tha character design (those eyes, argh), but it more his childish personality, I thik. The way he can act like a five year old and be very serious at the same time

What got you into yaoi? hmmm its been so long I can't really remember...but i think it was either looking for more stuff on Escaflowne and somehow getting Gundam Wing in the search results LOL
What got you into Kuroko no Basuke? well...I like sports anime...like I really like sports anime...so much so that I'll watch even BAD sports anime like DanDoh or something...so if it shows up as a sports genre on ANN then I'll try to check it out. lucky for me kuroko is a pretty good sports anime
Who is your favorite character in Kuroko no Basuke? Kasamatsu. love that he is serious AND violent. and he just looks so sexy with his leg support socks LOL XD though i pretty much like all the characters as well.

I'm studing History and Psicology in the Universidad de los Andes, love anime and manga, fujoshi from head to toes... Also, I write some fics in spanish pages, mostly Naruto fics, since it was the first anime in wich I saw hints of yaoi... The rest is history, so, let's go to the point.

Naruto got me into yaoi... that and crazy SasuNaru fans (right now i'm more of a YahikoXSasuke fan)

What got you into Kuroko no Basuke?
Yaoi got me into Kuroko no Basuke. I really don't like sports anime that much. Beside from Inazuma Eleven, Dear Boys and Area no Kishi, i'm clueless about it, but the characters seems cute and yaoi couples were possible so I start watching it... Now I can't stop thinking about it, awake or sleep... Weird thing... A lot of wet dreams with Kuroko-kun...

Kuroko... I love cute ukes, maybe because I'm so manly(I'm a woman though)... Kuroko is strong and cute, I really want to protect him from anyone who want to hurt him...

What got you into yaoi?: To be honest; I don't know nothing about yaoi. It is Kakashi-senpai's fault! He leads me to yaoi world because of this picture click--->KAKAIRU I fell in love with YAOI WORLD! Why can't bishies are real guys in real life? Why must they be in anime and manga?

What got you into Kuroko no Basuke?: I don't know about this manga or anime until I saw many basketball uniform at anime convention last Friday and last Saturday. I wonder why those people wore basketball uniform. So I asked those people about this uniform. They told me it is Kuroko no Basuke. I saw many cute guys wears basketball uniform. They even dye their hairs color as characters: Kagami (orange/red hair), Midorima (green hair) and Aomine (blue hair). My mind said that I have to watch anime and read manga.

Who is your favorite character in Kuroko no Basuke?: I don't know who is my favorite character not yet. I just watch Kuroko no Basuke episode 9 now. I don't realized there is long road to read Kuroku no Basuke manga!
I am on manga volume 7. I check how many volume. It is 175! It is going to be a long road to read all volume!
